We are being reminded by Brother Eli that there are natural boundaries in the existence of human. Our thinking, our eyes, our beliefs sometimes are confined to some limits. Even from the scriptures they say unlike a dove which sees beyond our limits.
Sometimes our vision also is limited and here is the unbounded which extends to all our being, our strength, our sense and our capabilities. All are given and put to boundary by God. Brother Eli started to tell that our mind knows no such physical limits because we are still open to both gifts and danger.
He went on to say that we achieve something that naturally we cannot achieve. Like the story of a man who believed that he is invisible that he cannot die or nothing can kill him. But unfortunately, he met his demise.
So Romans chapter 2 verse 3 guides us here. It gives us that we should not think high of ourselves but sometimes we should be sober, be disciplined and be humble in our thinking and belief be rooted in God's wisdom and assemble ourselves so that God will guide us.
This true reason isn't just about those unchecked imagination but it's about aligning our thoughts with the measure of and then our thoughts to the faith that God has given to us believing that only God can guide and direct us that we are limited in our own way.
Let us be careful what we think or what we occupy mind with. Let us not occupy our mind with so much illusions but let us embrace the word of God. Embrace the place, the humility of our nature as humans so that we can confidently and easily obey the commandments of God as a believer.
