From the teaching of Brother Eli, he gave us a powerful message about the word of God, which is by living a faith-driven life.

The book of John 8 vs 31, Jesus told us that if ye continued in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed. This teaching showed us that God's word is not something we study or a one-time event or just a check-off.

It is a commitment that we do throughout our lifetime. It is a journey of continuous growth. It is a reflection and an application of what we have learned from God's word. This word has reminded us that faith is a static thing in every believer.

It requires dedication and must persevere by studying the word of God always. So, the beauty of all this lies in we taking action. We have stood out once to receive these teachings from the word of God, like those commandments or indoctrination that we should uphold and live in faith. This journey does not end in being baptized as a Christian. We are also to follow the word of God in our daily life.

Also, in Matthew chapter 28 vs 19 to 20, we are being instructed that we are to observe all the commandments of God.

Observe all the commandments of God, this is not about trying to mark the daily session you spend studying the word of God, it is just about letting the teachings of God pierce through you and guide us to our life by overcoming challenges, temptations and even a fruitful life as believers.

Brother Eli also made a personal testimony sharing with us that he has been studying the word of God since he was 17 and this story has inspired us to continue to embrace and study the word of God without stopping as it is a life long career that must not have an expiring date.

God will reveal to us the decedent in the world. So, if you are a new believer, we are called to start with our teachings and keep going by studying the word of God, which is the prerequisite of keeping the commandment of God.

So, we should commit and observe and live in the word, trusting that Christ is always with us. This is why we are called to the path of true discipleship.
