The teaching of Brother Eli on hardship reveals a powerful truth, not all sufferings in vain, especially when the suffering is from God.
In Romans 8:18 we are being reminded that about our present suffering which cannot be compared to the glory that awaits us when we endure with faith. This is a perspective that transforms us into the opportunities of spiritual growth.
As Apostle Paul noted in Romans 5:3-4, although we might face tribulations but we must cultivate patience, a virtue that will shape us and be hopeful as believers. So patience is born from this hardship, it's not just a small thing.
When we persevere this enables us to complete our studies, this enables us to excel in our work and we can achieve our goals after this. Through this patience we gain so much experience and this fuels our hope that never disappoints because our faith is rooted in God's love. And when we pour our heart into doing the will of God, He will never forsake us.
While not all hardship come from God? Some stem from the evil deeds of humans and their greed. Through those he allows our purposeful desire to make us stronger and draw us closer to him in order to learn lessons in life.
Let us keep embracing this God and give it to God knowing that in turn they will refine our life, they will be patient and they will lead us to eternal glory. So every hardship becomes a stepping stone to hope and divine purpose of God.
