I’m super excited to tell you about my singing in the Vibes Web3 Music Competition. I love singing so much, and I’ve been on #Hive for a bit. Can you believe it’s already week 33? That’s a lot of weeks! I’m back again to sing and maybe win, which would be awesome.
This time, we had to sing a song in a different language. I thought that sounded fun, so I picked a language I don’t know at all—French! The song I chose is called Mon Amour by this guy Slimane. It’s such a pretty song, and it’s like a story about love that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy when you sing it.
The words in Mon Amour are really special. There’s this part that says, “Mon amour, dis-moi à quoi tu penses,” which means “My love, tell me what you’re thinking.” And then there’s “Est-ce que tu m’aimes? Ou pas?” which is like asking, “Do you love me? Or not?” It’s kinda sad but also super cool to sing. I practiced a lot to get it right, even though #French is tricky!
Singing in a language I don’t know was a little scary, but it was so #fun too. I love music because it’s like magic—it makes everyone feel stuff, even if they don’t know the words. The #Vibes contest is the best because I get to sing for you all. I really hope I can make you smile with my song!
