Hi to all! I have already written about my rich orchard while the fruit was green, I say rich because everything bore fruit in great abundance.While touring the orchard, I noticed that some of the pears had fallen, and in large numbers. I had intended to harvest them later, but seeing that the pears were ripe in large numbers, I returned home to get the containers.First I picked the summer ones, which ripen first and are full of juice. Of course I couldn't resist eating them. When I was little, when I was eating this pear, the juice would run down to my elbows.In our country, this pear is called VODENJAK because it is full of juice. And it is very resistant to frost.

This pear is called SANTA MARIA.It also ripens early and its fruit is very light. When eaten, it looks silky as if there is flour in it. We call it flour pear.It's very tasty, and we mostly just eat it, we don't make anything out of it. It can also be dried for cakes.

I wrote about this pear, the WILLIAMS pear, which is extremely good for brandy, but also very tasty for eating. I have a red and a yellow Williams pear. The yellow pear is not ripe enough yet, but it is still excellent for eating.So now you can see what it looks like when it's matured

This pear is called a KALUDJERKA or winter pear because it only ripens in October. That is, it is not ripe even then, we pick it and store it in wooden crates, and it turns yellow during the winter and can then be eaten.It is resistant to frost, drought and pests, and does not require any care.

After we picked all the ripe pears, of course there were still plenty left to ripen, we picked the small ones that fell from the tree and immediately processed them at home so they wouldn't be thrown away. I helped my wife and we immediately made juice, and put the rest to boil. We also made homemade jam.
