Hello to all the wonderful parents here in the @motherhood community!💛💚
Today, I wanted to share a little throwback from when my daughter was still one year old. Those moments that felt so simple back then but now feel like priceless moments, especially now that she’s already three. Time really moves fast when you’re a mom.

There was a time when my husband and I decided to bring her to a nearby swimming pool and park, just to bond and enjoy the day together. It wasn’t planned, nothing expensive, just a spontaneous little trip to make her smile. Back then, she had just started walking, still a little wobbly, still holding tightly to my hands, still discovering the world one tiny step at a time.
I remember how she giggled when her feet touched the water. How her eyes sparkled at the smallest things. How she clung to her father’s shirt because she wasn’t sure if she like the pool yet. My husband, even with his busy schedule on the farm, was so patient and loving. Watching him carry her, play with her, and calm her down when she got nervous is something I still hold close to my heart. Those small moments showed me how blessed I am to have a supportive partner and to witness their bond growing day by day.

Looking back, I realize that the advantage of having one child is how deeply and closely we can embrace moments like this. We get to notice everything, every smile, every new work every milestone. But of course, there’s also a part of me that wonders if she would have enjoyed having siblings to play with. Still, I believe what matters most is that she feels loved, supported and understood. And that day, she truly felt all of that.

Now that she’s three, more active, more talkative and more independent, I sometimes wish I could go back to that day when she was still small enough to fit perfectly in my arms. But memories like this remind me that we made the most of her early days. We showed her the world little by little. We built trust, laughter and connection as a family.

As a mom, these simple memories stay with me forever. The way she laughed. The way she held my hand. The way she looked at us like we were her whole world. Those moments are treasures no one can ever take away.

Thank you for reading my little throwback story. I hope it reminds you to cherish these all moments too, because those are the ones that truly stay in our hearts. This is my owned picture, captured of my Vivo phone, Edited in Canva. Until next time, always keep smiling. ❤️
