Hello hive friends! I hope you’re all doing well. I’m happy to share another story from our simple life and our recent anniversary celebration here on the farm.
The first picture above is from our wedding anniversary last year.
Anniversaries are always special, but they don’t have to be grand. This year, on our 6th wedding anniversary, we celebrated in the simplest way, just here in our farm house with food, family and few neighbors. For me, that was already more than enough.
A day before our anniversary, I already thought of what to do. Honestly, I wanted us to have a dinner out, just me, my husband and our child. But my husband said that he needed to fix the car since it had a small problem. So instead of going out, we decided to celebrate here at the farm.
I went to town to buy what we needed. I bought bihon, spaghetti, macaroni and of course a small cake. Nothing big, just simple food we could all share.
After buying groceries, I also went to parlor for manicure and pedicure. It had been a while since I last did that because of my busy schedule in the farm and online work. So, it felt nice to treat myself even a little.
When I reached home, I arranged the ingredients and started preparing. Maybe for others our menu looks simply, but for us it’s already a blessing. The food was for our family, neighbors and also the workers here in the farm. They are part of our daily life, so it felt good to share the celebration with them.
We had no decorations, no special setup. Just food on the table and people around us. But honestly, it was so meaningful.
While we were eating, I think about our six years together as husband and wife. There were many ups and downs, challenges, and even small fights, but we stayed strong. Through thick and thin, we are still here. For me, this is the real meaning of an anniversary, not just remembering the good time, but also appreciating how we faced the bad times together.
My husband is always the one preparing whenever we have occasions. He really enjoys cooking and grilling, especially our homegrown favorites. It makes every celebration more special and filled with love.
That night, I felt happy just looking at my husband and our child. Our life is not perfect but our love and togetherness are what matter most. This simple farm dinner turned into one of the most memorable anniversaries for us. This 6th anniversary celebration was not about the food or the cake, it was about us, our family, and the journey we continue to walk together.

Thank you for reading my story and sharing this moment with me. ❤️
Six years may not be that long, but it taught us so much. Love is not about grand celebrations, it’s about choosing each other every single day, six years down, forever go.
