Hello, My @Motherhood Community! Everyday is our day care center, there is a simple but meaningful activity, the feeding program. This is a program from the DSWD, and for us mothers. It is more than just about food. It is about love, care and making sure our children grow healthy and ready for their future.
Inside the classroom, I see how different every child is. Some are already very good at speaking, while others are still learning. Some are advanced in their lessons, while some are taking their time And that okay. As mothers, we all share same dream, that our children will grow up strong, wise and prepared for life.
Sometimes, I hear parents comparing their children. Who talks better, who reads earlier, who behaves more, but motherhood has taught me that every child bloom at their own time. Each child has their own story, their own pace, and their own unique light. What matters most is that we guide them with love and patience.
Yesterday, something special happened that made me reflect on motherhood even more. It was the 4th birthday of my daughter’s classmate, Jona. The children gave her flowers and little gifts. My daughter was so excited, she even woke up early just to pick a flower from our garden for her friend. Seeing her simple act of kindness made my heart full.
But what truly touched me deeply was the presence of Jona’s family. She is an adopted daughter, yet on her birthday in school, both her biological parents and grandparents, together with her adopted parents and family, came to celebrate. Imagine that, two families, all there, giving love to one little girl. I felt teras in my eyes, and a soft ache in my heart too.
As a mom, I know how much adopted parents give of themselves. They choose their child, they raise her, they love her unconditionally, But I also thought of the quite pain they might feel, because part of their daughter’s attention now belongs to two families. Yet, what I saw that day was not division, bit unity. It was love overflowing, shared from every side, all for Jona.
The children were so happy that day. They ate spaghetti, ice cream and laughed together. Their smiles were priceless. And as I watched, I realized that this is what motherhood is all about, the little sacrifices, the quite tears, the endless prayers, and then the priceless reward of seeing our children happy, helathy and surrounded by love.
Motherhood is not perfect. It is tiring and sometimes heavy. But it is also filled with moments that remind us why we keep going, whether it’s preparing a flower for a friend watching children enjoy a feeding program, or seeing two families united in love for one child. These are the memories that make our journey meaningful.
Thank you for reading my heart-to-heart story. Motherhood is not easy, but with love, sacrifices, patience and faith, it is always worth it. Have a nice day everyone!😍
