Tense Unspoken words dangled On invisible strings Wss it a fight?
Too quiet The air barely vibrates No taunts to soil it's calm I don't know where I stand.
A dam breaks Feelings revealed The spirit flooded and drowned And
Turmoil Became every night's food Never ending Stuffing every orifice imbued With a sense of starving Never lending Nutrition to the soul.
I retched So close to death I vomited So much poison in her breath.
I stirred My stomach aching I rose My heart breaking I wept My mind anticipating I spoke A truce instigating.
Can we end this battle? Can we stop our death rattle?
It is not to be. We die into eternity. Only then will all be still, Turmoil never again our souls to fill.
