This could be called a glass jars recycling operation, but that's unintentional recycling as the jars are being reused to store a very common type of food in Eastern Europe and Balkan countries, zacusca, which is a vegetable spread made in many combinations, but the most common one would be made of roasted eggplant and peppers with added onions, tomatoes, carrots, sometimes mushrooms, and in some parts even with fish.
