Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Driven by the storm, a blanket of mist lay down to sleep, allowing my soul to close its eyes to the world and sleep, sleep. sleep. Acknowledge the peace, accept the gift, and let it go with the wind.

I'd like to make the world a better place, for you, for me, and for the rest of the world. I have to wonder what makes peace so difficult to achieve. Can anybody possibly like living in turmoil, or amongst hate? Some days, the work is harder, challenging myself with positive thoughts, and tossing the negatives behind. I will begin again, all over again. Do your thoughts run wild, do you keep them in line? Are you with me or do you go it alone? What is one thing you can do to turn this world around again?

Your kindness allows the warmth of friendship to shine through. Have you ever noticed? Kindness has a ripple effect, everytime. I think we have to keep spreading it around. Compassion is the cure and love is the answer to it all.

You can go it alone, but, I find that there is power in numbers, a friend in need is a friend indeed, everything like that. All weekend all I could think about were ways to work together to build a better world, one that I would be happy to leave my children and their children when that day comes. Somehow, we managed to sling enough mud that nobody can see the beauty because of the mud in their eyes. I would say we need to clean up our act.

Life is better with friends. Friends don't let friends do stupid things. It isn't complicated and I don't want to get deep. Being a good human isn't that difficult nor does it take rocket science. Sometimes when you are feeling like the grass is greener in the other pasture, rarely is it. Be happy with what you have got and don't try to steal another's grass. Basic kindness. If you are not familiar with how to be nice, ask any kindergartner. Everything you ever needed to know about life, you learned in kindergarten.

All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten By Robert Fulghum

All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten. All I really need to know about how to live and what to do and how to be I learned in kindergarten. Wisdom was not at the top of the graduate-school mountain, but there in the sandpile at Sunday School. These are the things I learned: Share everything. Play fair. Don’t hit people. Put things back where you found them. Clean up your own mess. Don’t take things that aren’t yours. Say you’re sorry when you hurt somebody. Wash your hands before you eat. Flush. Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you. Live a balanced life—learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some. Take a nap every afternoon. When you go out into the world, watch out for traffic, hold hands, and stick together. Wonder. Remember the little seed in the Styrofoam cup: The roots go down and the plant goes up and nobody really knows how or why, but we are all like that. Goldfish and hamsters and white mice and even the little seed in the Styrofoam cup—they all die. So do we. And then remember the Dick-and-Jane books and the first word you learned—the biggest word of all—LOOK. Everything you need to know is in there somewhere. The Golden Rule and love and basic sanitation. Ecology and politics and equality and sane living. Take any one of those items and extrapolate it into sophisticated adult terms and apply it to your family life or your work or your government or your world and it holds true and clear and firm. Think what a better world it would be if we all—the whole world—had cookies and milk about three o’clock every afternoon and then lay down with our blankies for a nap. Or if all governments had as a basic policy to always put things back where they found them and to clean up their own mess. And it is still true, no matter how old you are—when you go out into the world, it is best to hold hands and stick together.

The beauty is obvious. However, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Just as flowers always color my world. Flowers. Always. #alwaysaflower For me, for you. Nothing compares. For you people out there, you know who you are: Thank you for being the very example of "kindness" You inspire me. ❤️ And just like that, this post is over. Come back tomorrow and we will do it again! The end!

All I have are my words, armed in my mind, written in pen, stand by stand. Oh, yes. Still by hand. It has a different feel. Altered not by keys, backspace, and delete, I write, erase, tear it to pieces, and start all over again. And again.

It’s my way. I walk out to the deep end of the page and dive right in.

Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day? Thou art more lovely and more temperate: Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May, And summer’s lease hath all too short a date: Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines, And often is his gold complexion dimmed, And every fair from fair sometime declines, By chance, or nature’s changing course untrimmed: But thy eternal summer shall not fade, Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow’st, Nor shall death brag thou wander’st in his shade, When in eternal lines to time thou grow’st, So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see, So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.
