A lot of photographers love Autumn because of all the beautiful colours on display. From a street photography point of view, it isn't the best - since we often have pretty bad light up in the northern hemisphere.
There is, however, a new type of light that comes into play during Autumn and especially in Winter. It is artificial light.
Street photography is different, but exciting during the dark months. I like exploring built up areas such as the financial district in London. It gets dark before offices and shops close, so you can have a lot of phone photographing from outside.
Being in the dark on the outside shooting in, the photographer is often invisible to the subjects at this time - making for some interesting natural shots.
Thanks for your time.
Truly, DT.
