. Relating to film photography, this photo was exposed unto a black and white emulsion. The image burnt unto the film was then etched via a chemical process. A final print is produced by further exposure to light of photographic paper and another chemical process. It is tedious, exepensive and even potentially dangerous.
. In the new paradigm, you point your phone at it, see the final product prior to taking the shot, you take the shot and you're done. Progress.
