¡Hermosa semana para todos!
Mientras hacía este lindo elefante pensaba en la infancia de mis hijos, la canción del elefante del circo, ¿Saben de cuál hablo? "El elefante del circo mueve sus patas así, es muy grande, muy pesado y no se parece a tí..." no recuerdo bien el resto, pero dice algo de un mani. ¿Los elefantes comerán maní?
El reto de este personaje fue colocar cada pieza en el lugar preciso. Las orejas me costó alinearlas, pero me ayudé con un par de agujas laneras. Después me di cuenta que la trompa estaba muy abajo y tuve que quitarla para volverla a poner (todo es parte del proceso) para finalmente lograr un resultado que me gustara lo suficiente.
Dumbo, es otro elefante presente en la infancia de mis hijos y aunque debió ser el primero en venir a mi mente con este proyecto, no lo recordé hasta que escuché a @isauris cantando: "lo que nunca ví ni espero ver... A un elefante volar". Me hace muy feliz cuando mis hijos forman parte del proceso de creación de mis personajes y vuelven a ser niños que juegan e interactúan con ellos porque los adultos más felices son aquellos que nunca pierden a su niño interior.
Tengo más personajes en proceso, pero mientras saco tiempo para compartirlos porque no me cuentas en comentarios si recuerdas otros elefantes de películas, series o canciones.

Beautiful week everyone!
While making this cute elephant, I thought about my children's childhood, the circus elephant song. Do you know which one I'm talking about? "The circus elephant moves his legs like this, he's very big, very heavy, and he doesn't look like you..." I don't remember the rest very well, but it says something about a peanut. Do elephants eat peanuts?
The challenge with this character was placing each piece in the right place. The ears were hard to align, but I helped myself with a pair of wool needles. Later, I realized the trunk was too low and had to remove it and put it back on (it's all part of the process) to finally achieve a result I liked enough.
Dumbo is another elephant present in my children's childhood, and although he must have been the first to come to mind with this project, I didn't remember him until I heard @isauris singing: "What I've never seen nor hope to see... An elephant fly." It makes me very happy when my children are part of the process of creating my characters and they return to being children who play and interact with them, because the happiest adults are those who never lose their inner child.
