Hola hola a todos los amigos que pasean por estas páginas a estas horas. Recién se acaba el verano y créanme que disfruté a tope mi último fin de semana, porque luego comienza el trabajo, la escuela de los pequeños, las tareas pendientes que dejamos a la espera.....En fin.... Me alegro muchísimo de haber encontrado esta comunidad para compartirles mi experiencia.
El último fin de semana del verano lo vivimos como un verdadero regalo en la Playa Santa Lucía, en la provincia de Camagüey, Cuba. Fueron tres días maravillosos, donde la arena, el mar y el cielo se unieron para brindarnos un espectáculo de belleza que solo la naturaleza puede dar.
No existe mejor sitio de inspiración, de enigma y de reflexión que el mar. Su sonido infinito, sus colores cambiantes, la brisa que acaricia la piel… todo parece susurrar secretos antiguos que nos conectan con algo más grande que nosotros mismos. Allí, bajo el sol y frente a la inmensidad azul, la vida adquiere un sentido distinto, más ligero, más profundo.
En lo personal, fue un fin de semana estupendo. Todos saben que padezco de vitiligo, una condición que me obliga a cuidar mi piel con más atención que la mayoría. El sol, con sus rayos ultravioleta, no siempre es un aliado. Por eso, protector solar, sombreros de ala ancha y largas camisas de algodón se convierten en mi armadura cada vez que me acerco a la playa. Sin embargo, nada de esto fue un impedimento para disfrutar intensamente cada instante.
La playa se convirtió en un escenario perfecto para fotos hermosas. Los amaneceres con tonos rosados, los atardeceres encendidos en dorado y púrpura, y el agua cristalina invitando a la calma o al juego, fueron protagonistas de recuerdos que ya guardamos con cariño. Caminar por la orilla, sentir la espuma abrazando los pies y mirar al horizonte con el corazón abierto fue una experiencia que renovó el espíritu.
Además de la belleza natural, Playa Santa Lucía es un lugar lleno de energía. Allí el tiempo parece detenerse y la rutina se disuelve. Todo invita a la tranquilidad, al descanso, pero también a la contemplación. Cada ola que llega a la costa trae consigo un suspiro nuevo, una historia que empieza y otra que se despide.
Estos tres días me recordaron algo fundamental: la vida siempre nos da razones para sonreír, incluso cuando debemos enfrentar limitaciones o cuidados extras. El mar me enseñó, una vez más, que no hay barreras para disfrutar, que la alegría está en la forma en que miramos lo que tenemos y lo que somos.
El próximo año, de ser posible, regresaré como una ola a besar la arena. Porque el mar siempre espera, siempre guarda un espacio para volver a abrazarnos. Y yo sé que volveré, con la misma ilusión, con el mismo respeto por la naturaleza y con la certeza de que cada regreso será un renacer. Ojalá y para ese entonces, encuentre a alguno de ustedes por allí !! Jjjjjj

Hello, hello to all the friends browsing these pages at this time. Summer is just ending, and believe me, I thoroughly enjoyed my last weekend, because then work starts, the kids' school, the pending tasks we leave waiting... Anyway... I'm so glad I found this community to share my experience with you.
The last weekend of summer felt like a true gift at Playa Santa Lucía, in Camagüey province, Cuba. We spent three wonderful days there, where the sand, the sea, and the sky joined together to create a breathtaking spectacle that only nature can offer.
There is no better place for inspiration, mystery, and reflection than the sea. Its infinite sound, its changing colors, the breeze caressing the skin… everything seems to whisper ancient secrets that connect us to something greater than ourselves. There, under the sun and facing the endless blue, life takes on a different meaning—lighter, deeper.
Personally, it was an amazing weekend. As many know, I live with vitiligo, a condition that forces me to protect my skin more carefully than most. The sun, with its ultraviolet rays, is not always a friend. That’s why sunscreen, wide-brimmed hats, and long cotton shirts become my armor whenever I approach the beach. Still, none of this stopped me from fully enjoying every single moment.
The beach became the perfect stage for beautiful photos. The pink tones of sunrise, the golden and purple shades of sunset, and the crystal-clear water inviting either calm or play—all of these became part of the memories we now keep with love. Walking along the shore, feeling the foam embrace my feet, and gazing at the horizon with an open heart was an experience that refreshed my spirit.
Beyond its natural beauty, Playa Santa Lucía is a place full of energy. Time seems to slow down there, and routine simply fades away. Everything invites you to peace, to rest, but also to contemplation. Each wave that reaches the coast carries with it a new breath, a story that begins, and another that says goodbye.
These three days reminded me of something essential: life always gives us reasons to smile, even when we must face limitations or take extra care of ourselves. The sea taught me once again that there are no barriers to enjoying life, that joy is found in the way we look at what we have and who we are.
Next year, if possible, I will return like a wave to kiss the sand. Because the sea always waits, always keeps a space to embrace us again. And I know I will return—with the same excitement, with the same respect for nature, and with the certainty that each return will be a new beginning. Hopefully, by then, I'll find one of you there!!
