The Power of Positive Thinking

Earlier this morning the thoughts of negative incidence overwhelmed me when I woke up, I felt depressed about many things: how I did not sell some of my crypto and take profits while the price was high; it seemed the bubbles of my plans are over, and combined with responsibilities that I have to handle daily as a man, I wanted to give up.

And as the dialogue continues deep my heart, my confidence in dealing with my daily routine becomes increasingly weaker, I felt like not doing anything today. But suddenly, a voice roars inside me: "BE WHO YOU ARE, THINK POSITIVE," and that was enough to kick me up again.

The last words of my conversation with my heart were like an electric circuit that refreshed my interior and set my plane to run again. I began to appreciate the things I have and ceased from thinking about the things I don't have. My negative view about life started to change to a felling of satisfaction.

Interestingly, positive thinking begets more positive thinking. It's a therapeutic balm for both body and mind. You learn to control stress rather than letting it control you. Positive messages are conveyed to your body; thus, it heals.

Now, let me share how I go about positive thinking:

I first draw a smile on my face and work on the positive side. I tell myself that ups and downs are part of every man's life, and all humans are together in this battle.

I practice gratitude each day. Being thankful for everything I have and being grateful for every person who has been there helping me, even in the least ways, makes a difference. I keep a thank-you note journal.

Humor has become the best of friends. Laughing is a great magic when anxiety or depression tries to sneak in. As it goes, a good joke heals the heart.

I'm very particular with whom I associate myself with. I learned a long time ago that people who are not going in your direction will weigh you down. I tell myself: what's not my intention doesn't deserve my attention. Time is valuable, and I am good to use it appropriately.

On the whole, the ability to speak out my mind has been an amazing change in my life. My confidence increases with each time I speak out. It makes me feel that I am the most valuable person no matter the place.

There are three main things I've found that contribute to positive thinking:

The first thing is awareness. Knowing what you are feeling-good and bad-is essential to adjusting thought patterns. I have found that it doesn't happen naturally but requires an element of willpower to change and mold one's thinking pattern. After you understand what you are feeling, you can select how you're going to be affected by what is being felt.

The second is self-confidence. Haven't you noticed how people who respect themselves carry themselves differently? It is not that they do not have problems, just that they do not stay with negativity.

Third is optimism. To me, optimism is this powerful hope that sees good possibilities in every situation. Hope is positive thinking, no doubt. If hope is believing that life can still get better, positive thinking is that hope’s key. Despite the pressure, hope acts as a shield for the brain and provides the strength to go through the toughest times of life. Keep in mind that the positive thinking does not deny the presence of problems, only that the problems are passing.
