Ciao ragazzi!
Un'altra settimana e ovviamente c'è una nuova edizione del concorso #UntoBisunto (la 45ª) della nostra comunità amata Olio di Balena. E partecipo anche questa volta perchè il tema mi sembra originale e divertente, e mi fa ricordare momenti del passato nei quali guardavamo film e ce li godevamo... Perchè il tema proposto questa settimana è nominare i nostri tre film preferiti, immagino di tutti i tempi. Quindi vi parlo ora un pò di quelli che ho scelto io, tre film davvero conosciuti, e ho messo un'altro in più come bonus!
Quali Sono I Tuoi 3 Film Preferiti? [ITA] 🇮🇹
1) Gladiator (2000)
Cosa dire di questo film amatissimo da tutti? Poco fa hanno fatto la seconda parte ma niente a che vedere con questo capolavoro del cinema indimenticabile. Perchè tutti ricordiamo scene potenti e frasi mitiche, che finora repetiamo: "Ciò che facciamo in questa vita ha un eco nell'eternità" (scusate non l'ho vista in italiano, ma immagino sarà qualcosa del genere) oppure "sono Massimo... " (sicuro sapete come continua).
E cosa diciamo della musica? Un'altro capolavoro. "We are free". E ci ricordiamo della serenità di quella mano sfiorando i cereali di quei campi dell'Extremadura (regione spagnola dove c'era la città di Emerita Augusta, attuale Mérida), perchè Gladiator era "hispano" (quindi spagnolo!).
2) Braveheart (1995)
Continuiamo con la storia, l'azione, la giustizia, la guerra e gli eroi. Perchè l'epica ci commuove e in qualche modo (finzione o no) ci fa imparare un pò di storia in qualche modo. E ci rendiamo conto che sempre ci sono stati uomini coraggiosi e con valori che li hanno resi immortali, sui nostri schermi e nella storia. Come William Wallace che ha difeso ciò che considerava giusto e i diritti del suo popolo malgrado i tradimenti (che ci sono sempre) e il suo fine...
Ma l'onore prima era molto importante, infatti era tutto e gli eroi ci tenevano, e tutti gli altri li ammiravano oppure li invidiavano, o tutte e due cose... e chissà oggi siccome questi tipi di atteggiamenti non è così abituale, e in qualche modo abbiamo bisogno di provarli anche se attraverso uno schermo. E continuiamo ad ammirare Braveheart, vero?
3) Little Women (o Piccole Donne o Mujercitas) (1994)
E cambiamo ora di genere e di tutto. Non mi piacciono film di avventure e guerre soltanto, in realtà sono molto romantica e vedo anche tanti film romantici. Ma nessuno meglio che quel classico della letteratura norteamericana di May Louise Alcott che ha incantato tutte le bambine, compreso me certamente!
E io da bambina guardavo questo film con emozione, questa versione in speciale (quella della mia generazione) perchè di versioni, ce ne sono tante, più antiche (dagli anni 50 fino a poco tempo fa) Ma a me piace questa con Winona Ryder e Susan Sarandon, e una giovanissima Kirsten Dunst. Hanno interpretato tutte quante un ruolo delizioso che ci ha fatto sognare e inoltre immaginare che noi eravamo scrittici che volevano esperimentare il mondo e esprimere le nostre vicende, come Joe March, la nostra protagonista. E infatti, ripetendo i dialoghi anche noi ci sentivamo proprio come lei, una ragazza che voleva fare la scrittrice.
**4) BONUS: Love Actually (2003)**
Ho deciso di aggiungere un'altro film, perchè per me i favoriti sono stati sempre quattro. Perchè arrivava il tempo di Natale e arrivava un grande successo con una stupenda colonna sonora che abbiamo sentito tanto dappertutto. E cosa dire del cast degli conosciutissimi attori? Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Colin Firth.... davvero grandi del cinema ancora oggi. E ci piaceva tanto anche quel senso dell'umorismo molto "british" e un pò sfacciato, e le diverse storie intrecciate di tanti personaggi. Tipico film che ci piaceva guardare sempre nei giorni di vacanze natalizie.

What can we say about this beloved film? They recently released the second part, but it has nothing to do with this unforgettable cinematic masterpiece. Because we all remember powerful scenes and legendary lines, which we repeat to this day: "What we do in this life has an echo in eternity" (sorry, I haven't seen it in English, but I imagine it's something like that) or "I am Massimo..." (you surely know how it goes). And what about the music? Another masterpiece. "We are free." And we remember the serenity of that hand touching the grain in those fields of Extremadura (the Spanish region where the city of Emerita Augusta, now Mérida, was located), because Gladiator was "Hispano" (so Spaniard!). 2) Braveheart (1995) Let's continue with history, action, justice, war, and heroes. Because epics move us and somehow (fiction or not) teach us a little history. And we realize that there have always been courageous men with values that made them immortal, on our screens and in history. Like William Wallace, who defended what he considered right and the rights of his people despite betrayal (which always happens) and his own ends... But honor was very important before; in fact, it was everything, and heroes cared about it, and everyone else admired them or envied them, or both... and who knows, today, since these types of attitudes are not so common, and somehow we need to experience them, even if only through a screen. And let's continue to admire Braveheart, right?

But none better than that classic of North American literature by May Louise Alcott, which enchanted all little girls, certainly me! And as a child, I watched this film with emotion, this version especially (the one from my generation) because there are many older versions (from the 1950s until recently). But I like this one with Winona Ryder and Susan Sarandon, and a very young Kirsten Dunst. They all played delightful roles that made us dream and also imagine that we were writers who wanted to experience the world and express our own experiences, like Joe March, our protagonist. And indeed, repeating the dialogue, we too felt just like her, a girl who wanted to be a writer. I decided to add another film, because for me there have always been four favorites. Because Christmas was coming, and so was a huge blockbuster with a wonderful soundtrack we've heard everywhere. And what about the cast of well-known actors? Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Colin Firth.... truly greats of cinema even today. And we also loved that very "British" slightly cheeky sense of humor, and the intertwined stories of so many characters. It was a typical film we always enjoyed watching during the Christmas holidays.
