Friendship Over Money One thing I never truly valued beyond meeting need is money. I do not in any way trivialize the importance of money, but I've never considered it to be more important than normal. I value friendship, not for any gain, but for the fact that we need each other to survive in this life. Once I notice someone prioritizing money in everything he does, I consider it a bad influence but still respect his decision regardless. The environment I grew up in, as long as our basic needs were met, money was an extra demand. Above the pursuit for money, I value friendship, and I've stuck around friends I noticed share this value with me. Once friendship is prioritized above money, you really gain something even more than Gold-True friends.

Respect Everyone's Effort I don't talk down on anyone's effort as long as they're trying. So one core value I uphold is respect. I can give it for free and I want someone to do the same. One thing I noticed about people who don't appreciate effort is that they look for mistakes instead of effort. And once anyone starts looking for mistakes, he surely gets one. I stay away from such people, because they only introduce someone to his weaknesses and never show them the strength they may not have noticed they possess.
