A Big and Beautiful Old House or a Small house with no Need of Renovation? #LOH contest 255

Hello beautiful ladies of hive, responding to this week's contest topic, I would like to drop my view.

Considering the comparism between the two buildings I will choose the first house, here is why..

The first house is big, beautiful but old and needs renovation. The second house is small, not as beautiful as the first but it doesn't need repairs.

I love beauty, space and serenity, so I will go for the first house knowing that it would give me what I want after sometime of repair.

Here is personal story, my dad was transferred to another state in Nigeria early last year, in September we got a house, not what we wanted at all, but in area we would love to stay and majorly because of what we could afford at that time, due to a lot of experience that comes with relocation. Since this year after a little balance, we decided to invest in bringing the house to shape, and YES, we have made good progress since then and we all love it. Images attached.

Renovation can be expensive and stressful, but then, I prefer it because I could make some impacts in the house, do some personal designs and especially I would have to break a bank to buy a house, I can decide to make renovations when I have enough to spare.

Moreover, there is no way I would buy a house without doing some works in it, from paintings, to fixing light bulb, to fancy decors and different other things.

Once the first house does not have cracks or any collapsing threats, I would for the old but big and beautiful house.

Thank you for reading to this point, I love you already. Please share your views on my decision in your comments.
