Greetings lovely people of lifestyle community, how are you doing today, sure your day is going as planned, this is my first time to post in this beautiful community and am so happy to share with you my experience with my grandma when she was alive, in her blessed memory i write this.

Growing up in grandma's house was the first joy i want to talk about, my grandma was a loving and a caring person, anyone who came around her loved her because she was an easy going and a jovial type and at the same time a disciplinarian. She beat us her grand children whenever we went wrong, hehehe she had signs she used for us in the public and most times we pretended as if we didn't see her and her signs, especially when we're collecting eatables from someone out there been that she had warned long ago in the house not to collect such from people outside and anytime we felt like to collect, you know as children then we were enticed with those village fruits, so we don't look at her face each time we collected because we know our beating awaits us in the house when we returned, 🤣🤣 but then we saw her as been harsh but today all the things she caught us are still useful till today as we live to remmber her, may her gentle soul continue to rest in God

At a stage we all left grandma's house to stay in different town, we only came once in awhile to visit her, bought things for her, by then we have graduated from school and have started working, whenever we visited and bought her things, she will always pray and blessed us by then grandma was getting old already, and as time went on she became too old that she can no longer do things for herself, her children called for meeting and the first daughter said grandma will come stayed with her while others will assist financially and from time to time come to to see her anytime there work permitted them and they concluded on that agreement with thanks to their elder sister because taking care of aged parents is a challenging thing. Oh old age this was a woman that used to be so strong going to her farm, she doesn't miss church activities, going to market on the village market day and even when her children said Mama come to my house and stay for sometimes, she will didn't agree, she will say, my farm, my crops and so on, she kept giving excuses why she will not go and spend time in the children's place. But that very day of the meeting grandma was just looking but could not say a word but now agreed on whatever the children said and i cried each time i remember that day and i said to myself, definitely one day in this life i will grow old like grandma what a world, a time when you can no longer do those things you used to do and people around now make decisions for you even on the type of food you eat, at this stage grandma now mess herself up, becausme to get up on time to go and esse herself became problem for her to the extent that without the assistant of anyone around her at the moment, she will do it right there, but when grandma was strong, if she saw anyone in that condition, when she comes back to the house she will tell us, oh is better to die than to be suffer the people around, well no man is God and you can't take your own life until your maker called you home. But thank God she didn't stay long in that condition, grandma died at the age of hundred years. But before her death the children did everything possible to make her happy, came to visit and spent time with her from time to time, to know what she lacks and brought them, took her to hospital for check ups, even we the grandchildren were going to see her often until she passed on unto death infact that was a very wonderful experience am glad i had such opportunity to know and stayed with her as my grandma, she was a very strong woman. May her soul continue to rest in God.
