Gen 22:1-2 Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Vs 2 Then He said, "Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which i shall tell you
Sacrifice is to challenge God with what you have, for God to give you what you don't have. Just like Abraham did, he never hesitate to offer his one and only son as God requested of him but at last God made name for himself by providing a ram in place of lsaac. What God cannot do, does not exist, he does his own thing in his own way. Sometimes we guide those things we have, cherished them so much and wouldn't want to share or give others. I have come across this most times and have decided to live a sacrificial life. Because several times you see that the way you will loosed that which you cherished so well, you might start regretting why you didn't share with people who needed it and by then you have already committed sin and your conscience will keep blaming you until you ask God for mercy. Sacrifice is a key to unlock the miracle rooms of God, great achievements are usually got out of great sacrifice, sacrifice generates solution before we ask, He already knows our problems, but he said we should ask, sacrifice is another way of asking and it speaks faster for us. Is just that we Christians has fail to understand this and people of the other side, the unbelievers understands it better than us.
Sacrifice nullifies legal grounds and generates favour before asking, it releases unmerited mercy of God. So let's live a life of sacrifice, when we do it for others we are also doing it to God Thank you for reading, God bless you ๐๐
