YUGIOH: The Possibilities of Augmented Reality

THE GAME AT THE MAXIMUM LEVEL

About 15 years ago was the first time I played this incredible card game, it started as a basic game of monsters with attack and defense, magic and traps. But with the passage of time it evolved with more incredible effects cards and even more powerful monsters.

I must admit that from the first day I was able to play it (With borrowed cards) I got caught. Each of the cards that I was acquiring later, became a small treasure for me. Each one was valuable in its own way.

With the passage of time and the evolution of the game, the discs of duels and the Augmented Reality were added.

YES friends, already in Yugioh the future of augmented reality was visualized.

All of us who have played this incredible game have dreamed of having a Duel Disc, to project our cards and give life to our monsters.

But today… It can be possible!

Advances in Augmented Reality technologies are projected to have increasingly efficient devices. Companies such as Google and Oculus VR aim to develop this type of technology for daily consumer use.

Then, What are the possibilities with augmented reality for Yugioh?

INFINITE.

They are around the corner.

Believe me when I tell you that in a couple of years, we can see how monsters duels develop using augmented reality. Where the experience that the duelists will experience will be like never before seen.

The game itself could once again have a revolution and stay firmly rooted in our culture. Even, it could become a lifestyle.

It's important to know that augmented reality is an expensive development of technology. Because of this, the future of augmented reality will depend on whether those costs can be reduced in any way. If RA technology becomes affordable, it could be very broad.

But like any emerging technology, in the medium term this will be a fact.

For now, I will continue waiting for my Duel Disk.
