Have you ever asked yourself - I wonder how that certain author formatted their post like that? Have you ever wanted to "see" the markdown codes somebody used in their post? What about reuse an image link? It shouldn't be that hard, after all its all there, on the blockchain....
Well today I have a treat for you! Now - gone are the days of clicking endlessly through block explorer's - a new tool is here!
https://tools.crypto-dreamr.com/cmark
Presenting the CMark Editor - the tool that let's you SEE MARKDOWN for any post on HIVE, by simply using the permlink or even any link including links from peakd, ecency or hive.blog - load up and "see" any post, edit the markdown, preview any edits and generally explore markdown and its effects.
Load, edit, preview, copy and download - this the editor you've always dreamed of for getting formatting OUT of the Hive Blockchain and working with it!
Now of course this is an exciting tool for everyone involved; and as we reported recently, we are hoping to shift to a Champion Model for all of our tools. Someone has to talk about these tools, show people how to use them, and ask people to donate money. Really, I think that's how things get built. Just like in every youtube video they say "like and subscribe", someone has to make posts and say - "Hey, if you like what these guys are doing, you should give them money".
Additionally, for those in exploration mode, there is another lesser known tool, that pairs in an interesting way with the CMark - but I'll save that for another post, another day. For now, I should mention that CMark is built with our classic verbose URL technology, so feel free to build your own urls to share tips and tricks:

"C" Mark - get it?
I have no idea how we have made it so many years without an easy and cool tool like this, but its one that I think could be especially important and useful for newer users who are not as familiar with the classic strats of the modified markdown that we use on HIVE - some of you may know that I have done a markdown tutorial or two on my blog in the distant past.
Whatever you do think, do let me know down in the comments if you love the CMark, if you think its useful, if you use it. We hope you like it.
