This morning I noticed that HBD's price was above one dollar. I saw this on [CoinMarketCap](https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/hive-dollar/) and immediately went to check the internal market to see if there were any changes, but everything seemed stable there. I went back to CoinMarketCap and checked under the "Markets" tab to see which exchange was showing that price. It was on [MEXC](https://www.mexc.com/exchange/HBD_USDT). At first, I didn't notice an important detail, so I thought: "Well, I'll try depositing some HBD to see if I can sell it at that price because it probably won't last." I already had an account on that exchange from a while back.
When I tried to deposit, I searched for HBD, but something didn't feel right.
*Happy Balloon Dog?*
It turns out everything was a confusion or an error on [CoinMarketCap](https://coinmarketcap.com/). That HBD isn't ours; it's another token, perhaps a meme coin called "Happy Balloon Dog." Apparently, some people didn't do thorough research, and that caused some confusion on X and Telegram, where the chart of this coin was shared—which, I repeat, isn't our HBD.
Please be very careful, and under no circumstances should you deposit HBD on MEXC. Depositing HIVE is fine, but if you deposit HBD, you'll lose it because it isn't listed.

Hoy en la mañana noté que el precio del HBD estaba en más de un dólar. Esto fue a través de [CoinMarketCap](https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/hive-dollar/) y fui a checar el mercado interno para ver si había cambios; resulta que ahí estaba estable. Fui de nuevo a la página de CoinMarketCap y revisé en cuál exchange (en la pestaña de Markets) estaba en ese precio. Era en [MEXC](https://www.mexc.com/exchange/HBD_USDT). En un principio no noté un detalle importante y dije: bueno, voy a intentar depositar HBD para ver si lo puedo vender a ese precio, porque no creo que dure así. Eso pensé. Ya tenía cuenta en ese exchange desde hace tiempo.
Al querer depositar, busqué HBD y como que algo no cuadraba.

Resulta que todo fue una confusión o error de [CoinMarketCap](https://coinmarketcap.com/). Realmente ese HBD no es el nuestro; es una moneda, tal vez un meme, llamada "Happy Balloon Dog". Al parecer, algunos no hicieron toda la investigación y eso causó algunas confusiones en X y en Telegram, donde compartieron la gráfica de dicha moneda que, repito, no es nuestro HBD.
Estén muy atentos y por ningún motivo depositen HBD en MEXC. HIVE sí pueden depositar, pero si depositan HBD lo perderán porque no está listado.
