Hello everyone.
I continue my adventure in Horizon Zero Dawn and continuing where I left off previously, I inform you that the grenade that Helis threw made Aloy lose consciousness, leaving her defenseless. He could have taken the opportunity to take her life, but like any villain, he made the mistake of leaving her alive to make a public execution in the Great Circle, which is nothing more than the amphitheater of the citadel of the Eclipse soldiers.
When Aloy wakes up, she realizes that she is in a huge metal cage and has been stripped of all her weapons, including her FARO. As if that were not enough, she hears the bustle of the crowd around her and, upon glancing around, understands that she is a prisoner in the Great Circle.
Additionally, Helis appears to give the typical winning speech, full of religious idealism and narcissism. Between his babbling, I managed to understand that, according to him, our meeting was predestined and that Aloy's death will serve as a lesson to intimidate future rebels.
In truth, Aloy's face showed a deep disinterest in the situation and she looked as if she was more attentive to her weapons, which were near the cage. But a comment made her pay attention to Helis' words. The huge troglodyte had admitted that, with Aloy's capture, there was nothing and no one to stand in the way of his plans to destroy Aloy's village. This seemed more serious and not banal words, so a worried expression came over Aloy's face.
The big moment came and, after the sound of a horn, the bottom of the cage opened, dropping me into the middle of the combat arena. I thought I would have to face some Eclipses soldiers, but Helis had a surprise for me and behind a gate a huge corrupted mechanical rhinoceros poked its head out.
It was obvious that I could not cope with this gigantic mechanical beast, so I chose to use its own strength to my advantage. Remember I told you that villains often make mistakes. Helios was no exception and left my weapons on the platform above the arena. This platform was held by four towers, which I knocked down, causing the mechanical kingdom to crash into them.
As the platform fell, I equipped my weapons to make the fight a little fairer. After a long exchange of arrows, I took down the rhino, putting on a show that caused euphoria in the audience, which Helis was not amused by and sent his Corruptors to assassinate me.
All was lost, as the numerical disadvantage was obvious and normally he would have lost his life. Luckily, Aloy is the protagonist and this is not the end of the story, so the unthinkable happened.
Through one of the arena gates appeared Sylens riding a Astado Galloper, accompanied by a small group of junkers controlled by him, who kept the Corruptors at bay long enough for me to escape on a Galloper Sylens brought.
Faced with such a plot twist, Helis, very angry, shouted “TRAITOR!” to Syelns and ordered all available soldiers to enter the arena to prevent us from escaping, but it was too late.
Everything that happened was a lot to process. Aloy could not believe that this time she almost lost her life. On the other hand, it was amazing that for the first time there was the real Sylens in front of her and not the typical hologram she always conversed with.
Aloy told Sylens about Helis' plans to destroy his village and asked for his help to prevent it. Sylens' response was swift and forceful. He had no interest in participating in the fight, but gave Aloy a new FARO, since Helis had destroyed the old one.
Aloy strongly criticized Aloy's attitude, but she also understood that this was her village and not Sylens', so there was nothing to force her to endanger her life. And so it was that, with a few words, they said goodbye promising to contact each other again after Aloy prevented the extermination of the members of her village.
