Hello everyone
Today I must travel again to the city of Meridian to inform the Avad of a possible invasion by Eclipse soldiers. One of the things Sylens told me before taking his leave was that he had intercepted a transmission from HADES to the Eclipse high command to organize a coordinated attack on the city of Meridian with the objective of bringing the HADES core to the spire.
With no time to lose, I set out on my journey and along the way I gathered some resources from the beasts I encountered along the way. In a desert area I found what looked like an abandoned mine, which had something peculiar.
The entire site was circular in shape, it was fenced off and inside it bandits had imprisoned a Long Legs.
After eliminating all the enemies, I climbed up to the head of the huge mechanical beast and took some screenshots of the surroundings before unlocking the map areas.
At the top I saw a huge cluster of square-shaped rocks and decided to visit it. Good thing I did that, because behind it was a huge crater full of mechanical beasts, which I defeated to complete the task of collecting components.
Everything was now ready to go to the city of Meridian and, using the fast travel function, I arrived at its entrance in an instant.
Since it was nighttime and the nights in this area of the map are so fascinating, I decided to play a little with my bow and shot some arrows at the bridge pedestals to see what effect it would have and how long the arrows would stay embedded.
I had been distracted enough, so now I really had to go to meet the Avad. The king was waiting for me on his outer throne and, to reach him, I would have to pass in front of his royal guard, which, as always, was obliging as I passed by.
I told the Avad how much I knew. I told him all about the deactivation code my new spear possessed and also about the orders to attack the city from the eastern cliff. Since the enemy's main objective was to reach the spire, the king asked me to check the defenses and fortifications of three strategic locations.
Since there was no fast travel between those places, I had to do the whole route on foot. There was also no mount available at that time. Taking advantage of the fact that it was still dark, I took my bow and started shooting fire arrows into the air.
My goal was to create a fireworks effect, but with a single arrow I couldn't do it, so I experimented with shooting 3 loaded arrows and got this effect.
At the end, you can check the fortifications and prepare everything for the next morning's combat, which, as I understand it, will be Aloy's last major confrontation in the game.
Last but not least, I would like to participate in the Gaming Photography Weekly Contest - Theme: Night Photography.
