Al fin llegó la evaluación final de arte y cultura, que a pesar de ser una materia más de relleno nos fastidiaba un poco y teníamos que cumplir con todo para tener buenas notas (lógicamente), la profesora nos menciono que teníamos que elegir una estrategia para la evaluación final, ya quedaba en nosotros cual elegir teníamos entre: teatro, baile, canto o tocar algún instrumento
Finally, the final assessment for art and culture arrived. Despite being a filler subject, it bothered us a bit and we had to do everything to get good grades (obviously). The teacher told us that we had to choose a strategy for the final assessment. It was up to us to choose between: theater, dance, singing, or playing an instrument

El salón no se ponía de acuerdo en que obra elegir, eramos muchos para los personajes y que también teníamos la cosa difícil porque tenía que ser una obra escrita por un Venezolano, cosa que se complica un poquito más, entre discusiones por no saber que hacer llegamos a la conclusión de dividir el salón en 2 partes, como somos pocos quedaría un grupo de 6 y uno (que era el mío) de 7
The class could not agree on which play to choose, there were too many of us for the characters and we also had a difficult time because it had to be a play written by a Venezuelan, which makes it a little more complicated, between discussions about not knowing what to do we came to the conclusion of dividing the class into 2 parts, as there were few of us there would be a group of 6 and one (which was mine) of 7

Nosotros si nos pusimos de acuerdo rápido, la verdad trabajamos en armonía, tranquila, comprensión y es algo que me gusta mucho en los grupos, ya que si no te llevas bien o no tienes comprensión todo será discusión, así que por esa parte todo muy chévere. Elegimos un cuento llamado "La Ratonera" escrito por Ana Teresa Torres, dicho cuento trata de un hombre encerrado en su propia mente, hundido en su depresión sin poder salir (o así fue que nosotros lo interpretamos) y para alterar un poco la actuación y que llamara más la atención cambiamos poquitas cosas, la profesora nos dijo que no había problema en que yo actuará siendo la protagonista ya que el personaje hablaba de un hombre, pero no hubo inconveniente
We did reach an agreement quickly. The truth is that we worked in harmony, calmness, understanding, and that's something I really like in groups because if you don't get along or don't understand, everything will be an argument. So, in that sense, everything was very cool. We chose a story called "The Mousetrap," written by Ana Teresa Torres. This story is about a man locked in his own mind, sunk in his depression, unable to get out (or that's how we interpreted it). To alter the performance a bit and make it more attention-grabbing, we changed a few things. The teacher told us that it was okay for me to act the main character since the character was about a man, but there was no problem

Tenía sentimientos encontrados ya que hacía mucho que no actuaba y las muchas veces que lo hice fue con mi mejor amigo y aparte de eso, siempre me han gustado las artes escénicas y me hacía ilusión volver a actuar. Nosotros nos pusimos de acuerdo con toda la escenografía, ensayamos muchas veces para que todo quedara muy bien y así fue, el día de la evaluación fuimos el último grupo en pasar, ya que estábamos 3 secciones juntas y lo hiciste en el pasillo central de la universidad, pero sin duda fue un cierre espectacular y la profesora quedó encantada, todos los hicimos muy bien y está es una experiencia que quedará en mi para siempre❤️
I had mixed feelings since it had been a long time since I had acted and the many times I did it were with my best friend and apart from that, I have always liked the performing arts and I was excited to act again. We agreed on all the scenery, we rehearsed many times so that everything was very good and it was, on the day of the evaluation we were the last group to go through, since we were 3 sections together and you did it in the central corridor of the university, but without a doubt it was a spectacular closing and the teacher was delighted, we all did very well and this is an experience that will remain in my mind forever❤️
