Every part of our being has its limit, that is the natural condition of our being. Our eyes has its limit, I can only see light, white rays of light but I cannot see without a spectrum, the ultraviolet or the infrared rays of light. A dove can see, when put to test, the ultraviolet rays of light, which has been proven beyond every reasonable doubt, but for Man, we can't see to that extent, because our eyes has its limit. Our strength and everything in our being, has its limit.
The only thing that can go far beyond our means is our thinking faculty. A drug addict who once thought himself to be a superman jumped to his death, from a 22nd floor, so we can think whatever we like but God does not want us to think just anything, but He wants us to put a rein on our thoughts. If you know God's word, you cannot call yourself a freethinker, it is wrong, or to be free in thinking whatever one likes.
Romans 12:3 says;
Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.
Biblically speaking, our thinking must be disciplined, by soberness, by simplicity, our thinking must be regulated by God's word and wisdom so we are not free to think whatever we want to think of.
