[ESP][ENG] A week getting to know bogota - This was day 1 🛩️🌆

¡Que onda Hivers!, luego de un tiempo inactivo regreso a hablarles un poco acerca de mi viaje a la ciudad de Bogotá - Colombia, esto fue un plan que tenia desde inicios de año pero que había ido aplazando, para resumir el cuento llego la fecha y no estaba preparado, es decir, habló de que ni siquiera compre artículos de primera necesidad y termine comprando cepillo de dientes y desodorante una vez que llegue a mi destino... Amo Colombia, he tenido la fortuna de conocer algunas ciudades como: Cúcuta, Medellín, Pamplona, Chitaga y entre otros pueblitos que quedan en la vía. Por supuesto que la capital era algo que si o si quería visitar, tengo algunos amigos allí y siempre he escuchado cosas positivas, especialmente de su clima frio.

What's up Hivers, after some time of inactivity I return to talk a little about my trip to the city of Bogota - Colombia, this was a plan that I had since the beginning of the year but had been postponing, to summarize the story came the date and I was not prepared, that is, he spoke of not even buy basic necessities and ended up buying toothbrush and deodorant once I arrived at my destination .... I love Colombia, I have been fortunate to know some cities like: Cucuta, Medellin, Pamplona, Chitaga and among other small towns that are on the way. Of course the capital was something I wanted to visit, I have some friends there and I have always heard positive things, especially about its cold climate.

Hice este recorrido con dos de mis mejores amigos, empezamos el viaje un poco apretados, especialmente yo, pues esa semana tuve una carga de trabajo importante, así que desde que llegue al aeropuerto tuve que distribuir bien mi tiempo para cumplir con dichas obligaciones, me sorprende la cantidad de gente que vi haciendo e-working, creo que nunca antes me había fijado en cuantas personas tienen conversaciones importantes de trabajo en un aeropuerto. En el aeropuerto Camilo Daza (ubicado en Cúcuta) tienen internet gratis lo cual fue importantísimo para mi, aproveche unas 4 horas para adelantar todo lo posible.

I made this trip with two of my best friends, we started the trip a little tight, especially me, because that week I had an important workload, so since I arrived at the airport I had to distribute my time well to meet these obligations, I was surprised by the number of people I saw doing e-working, I think I had never noticed before how many people have important work conversations in an airport. In the Camilo Daza airport (located in Cucuta) they have free internet which was very important for me, I took advantage of about 4 hours to advance as much as possible.

    Hicimos el check mig tarde, tenemos la teoría de que gracias a eso nos toco los últimos puestos... Es decir, no tuvimos ventana, es la primera vez que me sucede, fue un vuelo aburrido pues soy de los que pasan todo el vuelo viendo la ventanilla, la vista a tal altura es simplemente espectacular, pero bueno, lo importante era llegar sanos y salvos a Bogotá. Como siempre, el personal del aeropuerto fue super amable, al igual que todos los trabajadores de los diferentes locales ubicados allí, nos orientaron en cosas tan simples como el recargar saldo en nuestros números para poder tener acceso a internet. Desde que llegamos pude notar el cambio de temperatura, la brisa una vez que pusimos un pie fuera del aeropuerto me puso feliz de inmediato.

We checked in late, we have the theory that thanks to that we were in the last seats.... That is, we had no window, it is the first time that happens to me, it was a boring flight because I am one of those who spend the entire flight watching the window, the view at that altitude is simply spectacular, but well, the important thing was to arrive safe and sound to Bogota. As always, the airport staff was super friendly, as well as all the workers of the different stores located there, they guided us in simple things like recharging our phone numbers to have access to internet. From the moment we arrived I could notice the change in temperature, the breeze once we set foot outside the airport made me happy immediately.

Ese día no hicimos mucho, solo ir hasta el lugar donde íbamos a pasar la semana, decidimos utilizar el Transmilenio que según entendí es la forma más rápida y común de movilizarse en esta enorme ciudad, teníamos que adquirir una tarjeta para viajar en el lo antes posible y así no perder tiempo los demás días, este recorrido me permitió conocer avenidas principales y el centro comercial "Centro Mayor" que es el más grande de todo Bogotá, allí almorzamos en un kfc, debo decir que anhelaba llegar a Colombia solo a comer pollo de esta franquicia y también me hacia especial ilusión ir a McDonalds... Si, suena como cosas tontas per donde vivo es realmente costoso ir y además la calidad no es la misma.

That day we did not do much, just go to the place where we were going to spend the week, we decided to use the Transmilenio that as I understood is the fastest and most common way to move in this huge city, we had to buy a card to travel on it as soon as possible and thus not waste time the other days, This tour allowed me to know main avenues and the shopping center "Centro Mayor" which is the largest of all Bogota, there we had lunch in a KFC, I must say that I longed to get to Colombia just to eat chicken from this franchise and I was also looking forward to go to McDonalds. .. Yes, it sounds like silly things but where I live it is really expensive to go and also the quality is not the same.

      Compre los artículos de primera necesidad que me hacia falta, desempacamos nuestras maletas y en la noche caminamos por Keneddy (donde nos quedamos), lo que más me gusto fue el hecho de que el comercio esta activo hasta muy tarde, en esta primera noche salimos a eso de las 9:00 pm y aún habían bodegas y supermercados abiertos, entramos a uno donde había una maquina retro con un juego similar a Tekken, la verdad es que no se cual era 😂. Este primer día fue únicamente esto, trabajar y establecernos.

I bought the basic necessities that I needed, we unpacked our bags and at night we walked around Keneddy (where we stayed), what I liked the most was the fact that commerce is active until very late, on this first night we left around 9:00 pm and there were still stores and supermarkets open, we entered one where there was a retro machine with a game similar to Tekken, the truth is that I do not know what it was 😂. This first day was just this, working and settling in.
