¡Hola, amigos de #Hive! 🤗 Un saludo especial para todos en la comunidad Daily Blog. Espero que, al igual que yo, estén teniendo un excelente inicio de semana. Regreso por la comunidad, para contarles cómo fue nuestro fin de semana.
Aunque el curso escolar volvió a abrir sus puertas, nosotros no desaprovechamos los viernes, para, luego de las clases, venir para las comodidades de la ciudad. A veces, ni siquiera salimos, nos quedamos en casa, así sin más, disfrutando de un poco de algunas horas de tranquilidad lumínica, climática y entretenida.
Pero este domingo, nos levantamos temprano y luego de ese desayuno, en el que se ha vuelto una costumbre, una buena taza de café, nos fuimos un rato al parque "Pioneros". Este parque tiene historias familiares, grabadas en la infancia de cada niño de mi generación, que disfrutó de sus instalaciones.
A pesar de que nada es como antes, los padres siguen aprovechando lo poco que queda de este longevo parque. Para que los niños tengan una infancia, más o menos parecida a la nuestra, más allá de solo andar dando vueltas con teléfonos y tablets. Es por eso que, siempre que puedo, me traigo a mi pequeño para acá, así viejo, mal cuidado y con muy pocos aparatos funcionando, pero siempre aquí.
Es que ya este muchacho, se me está volviendo un hombrecito entre las manos, y por eso tengo que aprovechar lo que me queda de su infancia. Porque pasar tiempo con él es mi mejor terapia, y traerlo a este lugar, es como rebobinar para atrás la película de nuestras vidas.
Hemos venido muchas veces, pero en esta ocasión, Eduardo quería comprarse unos pececitos, para tenerlos de mascota en casa. Como mismo en otras ocasiones los ha tenido, pero esta vez queremos intentar, de alguna manera, conseguir una pecera para que tenga varios de estos entretenidos y coloridos pececitos que a él le gustan mucho.
Bueno, quien dice a él, dice a todos los de la casa, porque quién se resiste a mirar un rato a estas criaturas nadando. Entramos al parque y luego de dar algunas vueltas por la instalación, pasamos a la tienda de peces ornamentales, que cada niño que viene al parque visita para llevarse en una bolsa, o como en nuestro caso en una botella, una o varias de estas criaturas.
Eduardo esta vez escogió tres peces: uno negro, pero oscuro, otro de tinte rojo y uno naranja brillante, que es el más grande de los tres y llama mucho más la atención. Hay tantos peces, puestos a la orden para escoger, que uno no sabe con cuál decidirse. Luego de que habíamos realizado la compra de los peces y la comida para alimentarlos, llegaron dos personas más con unos pececitos en recipientes.
Eran de lo más llamativos, parece que estas personas son algunos de los proveedores de la tienda. Antes de irnos del lugar, le pregunté a la señora que me atendió si ellos tenían peceras a la venta🤔. Me dijo que sí, pero que no tenía disponibilidad en ese momento en la tienda, pero que podía pasar la semana que viene para verlas. En realidad, no tengo la menor idea del tamaño o lo que cuestan estas peceras, pero veremos si podemos regalarle una a Eduardo.
¿Cómo describir, la alegría con la que iba de regreso para la casa, llevando en sus manos aquel recipiente de cristal, con sus pescaditos 🥰? Esta mañana tuvimos que madrugar, para poder abordar un transporte que nos permitiera llegar a tiempo para que Eduardo no perdiera el día de escuela.
Que, por cierto, les cuento que estuve allí en su escuela, apoyando a unas colegas enfermeras que estaban vacunando a los niños de primero y quinto grado. Por suerte no hubo ningún accidente alguno con los peces en el viaje de regreso y ahí están en el rinconcito de meseta que le dimos. ¿ A ustedes también les gustan los pececitos ornamentales? Although school has started again, we don't waste our Fridays. After class, we come to enjoy the comforts of the city. Sometimes we don't even go out; we just stay at home, enjoying a few hours of peaceful light, pleasant weather, and entertainment.
But this Sunday, we got up early and after breakfast, which has become a tradition, a good cup of coffee, we went to Pioneros Park for a while. This park has family stories engraved in the childhood of every child of my generation who enjoyed its facilities.
Although nothing is as it used to be, parents continue to take advantage of what little remains of this long-standing park. So that children can have a childhood more or less similar to ours, beyond just walking around with phones and tablets. That's why, whenever I can, I bring my little one here, even though it's old, poorly maintained, and with very few devices working, but it's always here.
This boy is already becoming a little man in my hands, and that's why I have to make the most of what's left of his childhood. Because spending time with him is my best therapy, and bringing him to this place is like rewinding the movie of our lives.
We've been here many times, but this time, Eduardo wanted to buy some little fish to keep as pets at home. He's had them before, but this time we want to try to get a fish tank so he can have several of these entertaining and colorful little fish that he likes so much.
Well, when he says "him," he means everyone in the house, because who can resist watching these creatures swim around for a while? We entered the park and after walking around the facility a few times, we went to the ornamental fish store, which every child who comes to the park visits to take one or more of these creatures home in a bag, or in our case, in a bottle.
This time, Eduardo chose three fish: one black, but dark, another red, and one bright orange, which is the largest of the three and attracts much more attention. There are so many fish to choose from that it's hard to decide which one to get. After we had bought the fish and food to feed them, two more people arrived with some small fish in containers.
They were very striking, and it seems that these people are some of the store's suppliers. Before leaving, I asked the lady who served me if they had fish tanks for sale. She said yes, but that they weren't available in the store at that moment, but that I could come back next week to see them. Actually, I have no idea how big these fish tanks are or how much they cost, but we'll see if we can get one for Eduardo.
How can I describe the joy with which he walked home, carrying that glass container with his little fish in his hands? This morning we had to get up early to catch transportation that would get us there on time so Eduardo wouldn't miss a day of school.
By the way, I was there at his school, helping some fellow nurses who were vaccinating the first and fifth graders.
