Escogí esta canción para que conozcan un poco del legado musical cubano, por lo que es un orgullo para mí poder traerlo al vibrante mundo de la #Web3 y de paso participar en el Vibes Web3 Music Competition Week 41. Polo Montañés, "el guajiro natural", con su voz de ronca y apasionada, compuso esta joya de la música popular, bailable y tradicional, para su álbum Guajiro Natural (2000).  Me gusta la música de Polo, desde que debutó escucho sus canciones y ese legado que nos dejó. Precisamente, esta canción es una de las más divertidas de su repertorio. Polo Montañés fue un artista cubano nacido en la parte más occidental de la mayor de las Antillas, que tuvo una carrera musical demasiado corta, para todo lo que tenía para darnos musicalmente hablando.  Desapareció de este mundo luego de un trágico accidente que le quitará la vida. Pero su legado sigue vivo, conquistado a generaciones con su sus letras llenas de picardía y romanticismo, así como su identidad cubana, con la que bautizó cada una de sus canciones.  Con este cover quiero honrar a esta figura insignia de la música cubana y orgullo de su tierra pinareña. Ha sido un placer haberles preparado este video y espero que sea de su agrado.
