Debido a esta situación muchos cubanos se refugian en la sombra que proyectan edificaciones o la misma madre naturaleza para protegerse del astro rey. En las fotos que se muestran vemos a un hombre sentado bajo la sombra de un gran árbol, frente a nuestro edificio. Desde nuestra perspectiva podemos decir que, en este caso, la sombra captada cumple un objetivo protector.
