Una vez más haciendo acto de presencia en este gran Hive Music Festival. Les confieso que estuve buscando entre mis canciones algo que no fuera tan romántica y bueno, eso es una tarea bastante difícil para un compositor que escribe más del desamor que del mismo amor. Buscaba una canción un poco más animada. Y créanme que hay tantas canciones que a veces se me olvidan. Pero el día de ayer tomé a Dulce, mi guitarra. Me puse a ensayar de manera normal, que esa canción viniera sola, nada forzado, más bien disfrutando del momento de ensayo. Y en una de tantas canciones, o mejor dicho, en medio de una que estaba cantando, frené; recordé una canción que cuando la terminé, recuerdo que gustó mucho. Esta habla un poco de mi vida, de la historia de un nuevo amor o mejor dicho de mi actual amor. Y gracias a Dios que ha durado mucho. No me imagino recogiendo nuevamente los trozos del corazón.
Once again making an appearance at this great Hive Music Festival. I confess that I was looking among my songs for something that was not so romantic and well, that's quite a difficult task for a composer who writes more about heartbreak than about love itself. I was looking for a song that was a bit more upbeat. And believe me, there are so many songs that sometimes I forget. But yesterday I took Dulce, my guitar. I started to rehearse in a normal way, that the song would come by itself, nothing forced, just enjoying the moment of rehearsal. And in one of the many songs, or rather, in the middle of one that I was singing, I stopped; I remembered a song that when I finished it, I remember that I liked it a lot. It speaks a little of my life, of the story of a new love, or rather of my current love. And thank God it has lasted a long time. I can't imagine picking up the pieces of my heart again.
Ella siempre me dice que porque no le he escrito una canción, y lo que pasa, es que está acostumbrada a mis canciones románticas, lentas, de esas que te pegan en el alma. Pero nunca ha descubierto que esa chica que descubrí, fue a ella. Y tal cual dice la canción, por un momento pensé en no conocerla, en no volver a intentarlo, pues ya estaba cansado de recoger mis sentimientos y de las selecciones de cupido. Pero aquí estamos, después de casi dos años, aún tenemos problemas como pareja, pero también intentamos juntos, resolver nuestros inconvenientes o molestias. Es parte de amar y ser amado.
She always tells me why I haven't written her a song, and what happens is that she's used to my romantic, slow songs, the kind that stick in your soul. But she has never discovered that the girl I discovered was her. And just like the song says, for a moment I thought of not meeting her, of not trying again, because I was tired of picking up my feelings and cupid's picks. But here we are, after almost two years, we still have problems as a couple, but we also try together, to solve our inconveniences or annoyances. It's part of loving and being loved.
Esta canción nace una noche en casa. Ella, sentada a mi lado observando las estrellas mientras yo, contemplaba la hermosa mujer que Dios me había colocado en el camino. Y bueno, la canción, aunque no es, ni se parece a lo que normalmente escribo, créanme que habla realmente de mi vida. Tal cual como lo dice su nombre, sinopsis. Espero que a pesar del resfriado que tengo, puedan disfrutar de esta interpretación.
This song was born one night at home. She was sitting next to me watching the stars while I was contemplating the beautiful woman that God had placed in my path. And well, the song, although it is not, nor does it resemble what I normally write, believe me it really speaks of my life. Just as the name says, synopsis. I hope that despite the cold I have, you can enjoy this interpretation.
