Directed by: Gareth Edwards
Written by: David Koepp
Release Date: July 2, 2025
Runtime: 2 hours 13 minutes

Story (No Spoilers):

Jurassic Park: Rebirth takes place nearly three decades after the events of Jurassic World Dominion. Dinosaurs now live freely across the world and humans are struggling to survive beside them. Cities have been rebuilt. Even after the tragic incident at Éle Saint-Hubert in France, experimental reserves are still run by private corporations illegally. Site Eos is the island where new types of hybrid dinosaurs are being bred.

The main character is Dr. Zora Bennett (played by Scarlett Johansson), a brilliant scientist, who set up a team with a small crew of researchers and ex-military personnel, including Duncan Kincaid(played by Mahershala Ali) and went to investigate the island’s mysterious signals.

Together, they travel to the island but what they find there is far worse than they expected. The dinosaurs have evolved. They are faster, smarter, and more dangerous than ever.

The story is less about escaping dinosaurs and more about confronting what humanity has become in a world where creation and destruction have faded.

Highlights:

Visuals and Dinosaurs:

The movie is amazing. The dinosaurs feel more real than ever, with a mix of effects that make them terrifying and beautiful at the same time. The island’s environment was perfect, full of dense forests, broken labs, and dark tunnels, gives the film an adventurous feeling.

Best Performance:

Scarlett Johansson gives a solid and brave performance as Zora Bennett. She carries the film with confidence and emotion. Jonathan Bailey’s role as Dr. Loomis adds curiosity, while Mahershala Ali brings fighting and action to every scene. The cast has good chemistry, and their teamwork feels believable.

🎥 Best Scene:

The first sight of the island will definitely blow your mind. The movie does a great job with suspense. You never know when a dinosaur will appear, and the sounds are amazing from roars to footsteps, everything was perfect. The chase scenes are exciting.

Return to Classic Style:

Rebirth returns to what made the original Jurassic Park special. A small group of people trapped with dinosaurs, trying to survive. This is one of the movie’s strongest parts. It feels more focused than the last few movies.

Weak Spot:

While the movie is fun and thrilling, the story is quite familiar. It follows the same formula we’ve seen before. Humans create dinosaurs, things go wrong, and people try to survive. There are not many changes in the plot.

Final Thoughts:

Jurassic World: Rebirth is a big, thrilling, and visually stunning adventure film that has the credibility to be on your watchlist. It brings back the excitement of being trapped on a stunning island full of dinosaurs. If you love thrilling visuals and action-packed movies, this one’s for you. Rebirth doesn’t just bring dinosaurs back, it brings the danger with it.
