Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. It's been a long time since I posted any blogs about efootball. But after the new update to #eFootball26, the game has become fun to play with the updated server which prevents lagging in the game. After the update, Long-Ball Counter has become more powerful than the others' playing style which you won't believe.😁 I have created a new customized 4-1-2-3 formation that is perfect for the long-ball counter playing style.
Today I am going to tell you how you can create a customized 4-1-2-3 formation that will help you to dominate division players with Long-Ball counter playing style
So at first let's create the customized formation first. You will have a default 4-1-2-3 formation in the game plan but that doesn't work perfectly while you are playing with a long-ball counter. So we need to make some changes.
1. Defecnce
In the default formation, you will have 2 CB and 1 LB & RB. But in the customized formation, we will have 3 CB and 1 LB. The reason I am using an LB is that he will join the attack on the left side corner when I am trying to score a goal. He will also fill the gap of LMF when needed. I am good at the left side so I am using an LB. If you want, you can use an Rb.
2. Mid Field & Attacking Position
You have to make some changes in the midfield too. Like in the default formation, 1 DMF and 2 AMF have been on the field. But for the customized formation, you have 1 DMF & 1 AMF. The other 1 AMF position will be changed to an RMF position.
As for the attacking position, I will keep the LWF position as the default but the RWF position will be changed to the SS position.
Of course, you should use a manager who has the highest long-ball counter stats. Luckily, I bought R.Martinez, a manager who has 89 long-ball counter stats. Also he is double boosted so when playing using him, your players will get +1 Ball Control & Aggression stats increase.
Now we will talk about the most important part, Team Management. Most of the time we use our players randomly without knowing their playing style. But that is not appropriate. I am going to show you which playing style you should use in which position.
- At first, I would like to talk about the defensive players. We are using three CBs for our defense. So you should use one Center Back with The Destroyer playing style and the other two center backs with Build-up playing style. The player with the "Destroyer" playing style focuses on aggressive defense. Players using this style attempt tackles frequently, and overall are more aggressive in regaining possession. On the other hand, the "build-up" playing style refers to focus on maintaining possession and gradually moving the ball up the field to create scoring opportunities.
For DMF, I suggest you use the player who has the Anchore Man or Orchestrator playing style. If you ask me, I will say use an Anchore man player because they stay deep, covering the space between defenders and midfielders and are very good at intercepting passes.
As for the AMF position, choose a player who has a Creative Playmaker or Hole Player playing style. Creative playmaker help a lot during the attacking. They create better opportunities by passing the ball. On the other hand, Hole player always joins the attacks even from the midfield. They run up into the penalty area to receive a pass and create a goal opportunity.
Now, arrange the attacking position. In the default 4-1-2-3 formation, there will be 1 LWF & RWF and 1 CF. But, you have to make some changes. Instead of RWF, you should have 1 SS with Fox In The Box playing style. This playing style of players always seeks to score a goal, sneak past the defender of the opponent's team, for perfect finishing.
The CF should be a player of the Goal Poacher playing style. Because they have excellent finishing and the ability to take a strong position.
And last, the LWF player should have Prolific Winger or Cross Specialist. The Prolific Winger player will cut into the d-box area during the counterattack to assist or score a goal. They are also good at finishing so you can count on them to score a goal.

I have uploaded a video where I used this customized formation against some strong opponents in Division 2. But with the help of this formation, and Long-ball counter playing style, I dominated them even though they were stronger than me. Watch the video to understand the playing style.
