The sun has risen after breaking the night. Ishikawa Sensei and Sakai have taken the Nakayama Fort from the Mongols together. The joy of victory is in their eyes, but there is also worry. Sensei couldn't find his student Tomoye here. It was thought that his student had joined the Mongols' army. "What will happen now, Sensei?" Sakai asked. "I will continue to search for Tamoye. You contact the other clan members. When the time comes to attack, let me know. You will find me by your side."
After completing Nakayama's mission, Sakai's Legend Points increase, and a new weapon option is unlocked: the Kunai, a small knife that can be thrown at the nearby enemies. This weapon can stagger the enemies for a moment.
Sakai sets off for his next destination. He must contact all the neighboring clans as quickly as possible and prepare for battle. Lord Shimura is waiting for him, guiding the way.
I stopped when I saw a small camp on the way. I realized that some Mongolians were enjoying their night. It was good that I got the opportunity to use the new weapon that I had unlocked. I moved towards them.
As I approached the camp, one of them came forward with a sword to kill me. Actually, he didn't come to kill me, he came to die himself. 😂 While the first person was being cut, I saw two more people approaching from behind. Then I used the kunai. It was very powerful. Sakai threw the small knives at the two of them with great speed, and both of them died at the same time. Also, there was an archer whom I killed with the kunai.
But the fight was far from over. There was a commander among them who was well armed. Kunai wasn't working on him anyway because of his heavy armor. In a one-on-one fight, he almost killed me, but it was fortunate that at the very last moment, I managed to break his armor and kill him. It turned out very beneficial to kill the captain because Sakai earned a new fighting technique. It is called Water Stance.
This Water Stance technique is very powerful and effective against the shieldman. While using the water stance, even if your opponent has a shield in hand, you will be able to break the shield and kill the enemy.
I decided to free some more territories of my land, so I went to the nearest Ogawa Dojo that has been under the control of evaders.
Entering through the front door would be a mistake, so I decided to sneak in by jumping over the wall and kill the man standing up on the tower with a bow & arrows. I quietly climbed up that tower and put a knife to his neck. That was brutal but I felt so good.
I was running on the wall and one of the soldiers spotted me. That fool thought he could take me down so he rushed towards me in aggression. When he can a little close to me, I throw a kunai to make him stan and after that my katana slice his body like a piece of cake.
I got off the wall on the other side of the dojo but there were two soldiers and they attacked me. Both of them had a shield in their hand, so I turned on the water stance mode. Believe me, it worked very fine. Each of the splashes was more powerful than before and those hits were breaking down their shield.
The Mongols were holding captives in these cells. I released them all at once.
Almost all the soldiers were killed in the dojo. I was searching for them one by one and killed them. One was left up on the tower but this time I didn't climb up the tower. I used a kunai to kill that enemy from below.
Only the captain remained to be killed. I waited for him, and after some moments, he arrived at the dojo. He was shocked and worried, watching the situation around him.
Then, the fatal fight began. Under a gloomy sky, two warriors collided in a maelstrom of steel and rage. Jin Sakai, filled with determination and rage, faced the brutal fight. His katana, a symbol of his honor, shines with the enemy's blood. In front of him stands a large Mongol warrior wearing heavy armor, his shield painted for war and full of defiance. The warrior's fancy armor shows he is likely a commander, the kind who destroys temples and attacks villages. Jin does not fight only for victory, he fights to reclaim his homeland.
In the quiet morning after the storm of war, the temple breathes again.. All the people are so happy and excited to be returned to their home. Some of them are talking with each other. Some of them are working to rebuild their home and clear all the mess. But they are happy to be back in their home at last. A maiden in bright red cloth sweeps the wooden floor, slowly bringing calm back to the place. This is no longer a captive place, it is a new beginning.
After completing this mission, Jin Sakai was rewarded with technique points that could be used to unlock new fighting techniques for him. So I unlocked some of his fighting techniques.
