Welcome, Hivers. Good day, everyone. I am @eijnuj06, and I'm back with another blog. This time, I'd like to relate our experience celebrating my Auntie's birthday and Family Reunionat Nang Dens Beach Resort.
This celebration takes place just earlier today, September 13, 2025, as my auntie celebrates her 40th birthday and arranges a staycation at Nang Dens Beach Resort in Odlot, Bogo, Cebu.
Last week, I received a message from my auntie telling me to go home on Saturday and inviting me to her birthday celebration, and she told us that she would prepare Lechon for the entire family to partate.
Then, earlier this morning, I traveled from Cebu City to my hometown of Tabogon to assist with the preparation of everything we needed to bring to the resort. We leased a Multicab and a Tricycle because our family is fairly large, whilst others utilized motorcycles.
When we arrived at the resort, we drove to the parking lot to park our vehicles. As soon as I approached the entrance, I was greeted by the magnificence of the sea view. We next checked the rest house and put the foods in the cottage located below the resort. We brought a lot of food, including lechon, mixed seafoods, grilled squid, pansit bam-e, chicken soup, and a dessert called Biko, which my mother prepared.
Before we ate, we prayed. And expressed gratitude to our Lord God for all of the blessings that have come to our family. After blessing the food, we ate, I brought a lot of food. Then I sat under a tree because it was shady and facing the sea. The food is great if you eat in front of the ocean. After we finished eating, the kids went swimming in the sea and we began drinking San Miguel beer. We brought so much beer, perhaps four cases, that we'll be drinking all day.
After I drank four bottles of San Miguel Pale Pilsen, I went for a swim in the ocean. It was nice to swim in the ocean because it wasn't too hot and it was raining. So I didn't have to worry about getting sunburned. So, it was really fun to swim in the ocean together with the whole family.
I returned to drinking beer after going swimming in the water since there was so much of it. My relatives and cousins greatly adore drinking beer. It was a memorable day because the entire family can only get together once.
I can give you information on the resort. It's quite exclusive. There is nobody else around, it can be enjoyed by the entire family. The resort isn't popular, To be honest, the place isn't really attractive, yet it's ideal for a family gathering due to its exclusivity. I hope we could celebrate again, and this time the whole family would be present.
