Welcome, Hivers. Good day to everyone. I am @eijnuj06, and I am back with another blog. This time, I will share our simple anniversary celebration with a family boodle fight.
We were celebrating our 7th anniversary, and instead of eating out, we both opted to cook food at home to save money and be able to share it with the entire family. While celebrating outside or at a restaurant, I believe we will pay more, and the downside is that we will be the only ones eating.
We went to the market early in the morning to get some food to cook, and we bought shrimp, crabs, and shells. We also purchased pork and liver. After the market, we went to the Gaisano Mall to get some drinks and buy watermelon.
We head home to cook our meals. I was assigned to make the grilled pork, while my girlfriend and I assisted each other in cooking the seafood.
After everything was done, we went outside and set up a banana leaf base for our boodle fight. We arrange the food on the table to look nice. We also place the drinks and watermelon on the table. After that, we share the food we prepared and thank God for all of our blessings. We enjoyed eating our meals.
Many people often feel under pressure to treat themselves to pricey dinners or opulent vacations when it comes to celebrating anniversaries. But spending quality time with loved ones is more important than the cost when it comes to celebrating a particular occasion.
