Hello everyone! I'm @eijnuj06, and I'm here to share our Charity Ride in Baranggay Salag, Tabogon, Cebu, one of the victims of the Magnitude 6.9 earthquake that hits Northern Cebu.
On September 30, It's just a normal night and no one knows that a disaster is coming, while people are sleeping soundly and others are just about to fall asleep, A disaster suddenly struck Northern Cebu, a 6.9 magnitude earthquake struck and its epicenter was Bogo City.
A disaster that traumatized all Cebuanos, many people lost their homes and what's even more painful is that some lost there loved ones.Since much infrastructure has been damaged, people are no longer able to buy basic necessities like water and food.
We see people lying on the streets and afraid to enter their homes, everyone in need of help, begging for water and food. Traces on every face of everyone The fear that the powerful earthquake might happen again, Some thought that this might be the end of the world.
We Cebuanos are known for our cooperation in times of disaster, leave no one behind in times of need. Many people have come from other parts of Cebu to provide assistance to the people of Northern Cebu. Due to the large amount of aid, it caused excessive traffic throughout the province of Cebu heading north.
To provide a little help, Yamaha Snipers Club Philippines Collaboration of Cebu and Danao Chapter organized a Charity Ride. The place they chose was Barangay Salag, Tabogon, Cebu, which is not very accessible to help because it is far from the Highway. Using our motorbikes, we loaded relief goods, enduring the heat of the sun and the weight of the load so that we could give the help we brought to those in greatest need.
In times of disaster, as long as we are united, we can overcome all of this. Let us unite with faith in the Almighty. Let us always remember that God is greater than any deluge that will come upon us.
