Welcome, Hivers. Good day, everyone. I'm @eijnuj06, and I'm back to share another blog. This time, I will tell you about my Christmas party and New Year's Eve celebration last year 2024.
It is now Bermonths, and Christmas is quickly approaching. How many days until Christmas? But before we get to this year's Christmas, I'd like to share with you my last December celebrations. Throughout December, there are several types of celebrations, such as a company Christmas party, Christmas Eve, and New Years Eve.
**Company Christmas Party:**
Companies traditionally arrange Christmas parties to celebrate with coworkers. These festive meetings allow coworkers to get together, unwind, and enjoy each other's company outside of the normal work routine. Christmas parties frequently include food, beverages, music, and games, resulting in a lively and pleasant environment that raises morale and strengthens team bonds.
Our company Christmas party theme is Bold in Red, thus everyone is obligated to wear something red. We also chose to celebrate in a hotel function room. We have a party schedule that includes Mass, gift exchange, and the most exciting part: "THE Raffles."
For the past five years, I have not won any Grand Raffle Draws at my company; I believe there is a curse or I am simply unfortunate when it comes to raffles. I just won a minor raffle; a rice cooker, which I don't really need.
***Christmas Eve:***
Christmas Eve is celebrated on December 24, the evening before Christmas Day.
Last year, I had the privilege of spending Christmas Eve with my girlfriend's family, which was an unforgettable experience. It was my first opportunity to celebrate the holiday with them, and I was grateful to be a part of their special ritual. We had a lovely feast with all the trimmings and a choice of tasty meals and drinks. The evening was filled with laughter, conversation, and love as we exchanged gifts and celebrated the season together. It was fantastic to watch my girlfriend's family be so friendly and inclusive, and I felt like I was finally a member of their family.
The gift-giving was a highlight of the evening, with everyone surprising each other with thoughtful gifts and sweet gestures. Overall, it was a fantastic night that I will always remember, and I am grateful to have enjoyed it with the people I care about the most. Celebrating Christmas with my girlfriend's family was a unique experience that brought us closer together and generated new memories that we will treasure for years.
***New Years Eve:***
New Years Eve is celebrated on December 31, the evening before January 1.
Last year, I spent New Year's Eve at home with my family, which has become a special tradition for us. Before counting down to the new year, we went to mass at a nearby church and prayed for wisdom, protection, and blessings. Following the spiritual celebration, we returned home to prepare for the countdown, full of excitement and anticipation.
My sister and mother had made a beautiful spread, with each dish more delectable than the last, and the aroma filled the entire home. As the clock hit midnight, we gathered around the table, swapped tales, and wished each other a year of wealth, joy, and blessings. The warmth and affection we had as a family made the evening extremely unique, and we appreciate these occasions that bring us closer together. As we look forward to the new year, we hope that it gives us more possibilities, happiness, and treasured memories, and that our family bond strengthens with each passing day. With full hearts and joyful memories, we welcome the new year with optimism and hope.
