This time, my girlfriend and I are traveling to Tabogon to celebrate my birthday, but we have previously planned to eat breakfast and drink coffee at The SeaSalt Cafe in Catmon, Cebu. We traveled from Cebu City after I picked her up at her office at 5 a.m. because her shift schedule is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. While waiting for her, I noticed a man selling Taho (a sweet tofu pudding), so I bought two cups for us to eat on an empty stomach before we left.
We left after having enjoyed the Taho. We both agreed that because it is a long journey, we will have breakfast and have coffee. We also agreed that we will eat breakfast at our favorite cafeteria along the road, the SeaSalt Café.
We arrived at SeaSalt Cafe in Catmon around 6:20 AM. We chose a table that faced the ocean and sunrise. Then the service crew hands us the menu, and we choose our order. For coffee, I got my all-time favorite, the Iced Spanish Latte, while my partner ordered the Ice Caramel Latte. For breakfast, I had Beef Tapa with Egg and Rice, while my girlfriend selected Sizzling Sisig with Rice and Pork Siomai.
After we ordered, the crew informed us to wait 15-20 minutes for our meal. While waiting, we had fun taking selfies.
Then we received our ordered food and coffee. I took pictures of our food and coffee in front of the beach with a beautiful view. I usually appreciate places like this; it's a fun and welcoming environment, and it's ideal for breakfast and coffee.
I've been here several times, and each time I visit and dine here, I'm amazed. I love coffee and nature, and this cafeteria has it all: sipping coffee while admiring the beautiful sunrise over the ocean.
