Hello, Hive Friends, especially coffee lovers! My name is **@eijnuj06**, and I'm here with another blog post to share an unexpected coffee date with my partner at CityMall Danao.
My partner ordered a laptop online from Manila; we tracked her order and saw that it was already in the LBC Hub, and we were notified via text that it was available for pickup. So we travel from Cebu City to Danao City after her shift ends.
When we arrived at LBC Danao, there were few other customers present, so the transaction was quick; the item was neatly packed with bubble wrap and handled with care. We both agreed that we would open and verify the laptop inside the City Mall Danao Food Court. Then we observed a coffee shop (**HIGHLANDS COFFEE**), so instead of sitting and opening the parcel, we decided to order a coffee. It's also a great time to sip a coffee because it's raining outside.
The coffee shop is located in City Mall in Danao, in front of Gaisano Mall.
Then I ask my partner to place an order at the counter for a coffee. She asked what I wanted, but I told her to just order a hot coffee. So, as my partner was ordering, I opened the package to inspect her laptop, which was a second-hand Lenovo Thinkpad.
My partner finished ordering a coffee, she ordered me the coffee shop's best seller, **"Phin Sua Da"** , a coffee with condensed milk, while she got herself a Hot Chocolate drink.
While sipping coffee, we closely evaluated the ordered laptop, seeking for flaws because it was a second-hand item, but the laptop came in good shape, and we were relieved that the seller did not scam us. Because, first and foremost, I disagree with her about getting a laptop online because it is too risky; it is a payment-first policy rather than cash on delivery. But she insisted on trusting the seller because it was a well-known laptop shop in Manila with positive evaluations and a solid reputation.
While she's still inspecting and exploring the laptop, I enjoyed sipping my coffee **(Phin Sua Da)**, which is ideal given the heavy rain outside and the cold temperature.
Highlands Coffee has a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso coffee, green tea, and Vietnamese coffee, which I ordered as the Phin Sua Da.
Phin Sua Da is a cold coffee drink that originated in Vietnam; however, because it was morning and the coffee shop didn't have any ice, we ordered it hot. It's a richly flavorful Vietnamese ice coffee with milk.
We had a great time at the coffee shop, having serious conversations as she checked her laptop. I've been in Danao City for many years, but this was my first time having coffee there.
