Good day, Hive Friends. I am back with another bLog. This time, I'll tell you about a traumatic experience I had while having my wisdom tooth extracted. It wasn't exactly a walk in the park, so I thought I'd tell you everything in detail so you could get the full picture.
First, I experienced pain in my right wisdom tooth because it had been eaten by cavities, was swollen, and I suspected it was infected. I've been unable to sleep due to a toothache. I took time off work to visit with a dentist and have it pulled. When the dentist examined me, she stated she wouldn't extract it since I was still in agony, sedation would be ineffective, my gums were inflamed, and it was infected. So she recommended an antibiotic for 7 days to ease discomfort and swollen gums.
After 7 days of taking medicine, I returned to The Dental Clinic for the extraction. The dentist X-rayed my tooth and determined that it was not impacted, thus no operations such as cutting my gums would be performed before extracting it. I was quite nervous since dental work can be very scary. The dentist then injected me with two shots of anesthesia to numb my wisdom tooth so that I wouldn't feel pain when she continued pulling it, but I was mistaken; as she pulled it, I felt pain as if it were the end of the world for me, so I ordered the dentist to stop and raised my hand.
The dentist stated that my seven-day antibiotic course was insufficient because infection remained within the tooth's base. So she asked if I was still willing to continue with the treatment, and I responded yes since I wanted to finish it for my dental health.
The dentist injected me with 1 shot of anesthesia and the other dentist held my hand to make me comfortable before pulling my wisdom tooth. Despite the fact that my wisdom tooth was moved upward during the procedure, I raised my hand and rested for a while due to pain. The dentist told me, "Sir, it's just one pull away from getting your wisdom tooth pulled."
Then she injected me with anesthesia again, inserted his tools into my teeth, and informed me, "Sir agwantaha, last nalang jud ni." suddenly she pulled it and I endured the pain, and suddenly I got a satisfying feeling of no pain, and the dentist expressed relief, saying, sir, we made it, your tooth was extracted, and you will not suffer any pain as a result. She prescribed me anti-bleeding medications as well as pain relievers. She gave me a medical certificate allowing me to rest for 5 to 7 days and not return to work.

I then ate ice cream to numb and minimize swelling.
The rehabilitation wasn't fun because I had to consume soft foods and be careful not to upset the excised section. I used to make lugaw with salt and sometimes champorado. I went five days without eating any hard foods. There is some pain afterward, but it is manageable with medication, and it took a few days to return to normal.
It was a terrible procedure, but it was well worth it for my dental health and the elimination of sleepless nights due to severe tooth pain.
