Hello Hivers, my name is ***@eijnuj06*** and I'm back with another blog post. This time, I'm sharing my worst motorcycling experience. My motorcycle is experiencing turbulence and making a noise in the engine, which makes me irritable and uncomfortable while driving.

Due to a long week of working in the city from Monday to Friday, I will return to the province every weekend to relax and spend my days off. While leaving work and riding my motorcycle to my boarding house, my motorcycle engine ran smoothly and made a good sound for the first few kilometers. However, as I drove further, I heard an irritable that was very loud and noticeable, I heard Tick Tick Tick Tick, and it was very noisy on the road; I assumed it wasn't my motorcycle.I believed it was from another motorcycle, but even though the road was free and there were no other vehicles around, I still heard the ticking sound, so I decided to stop and park on the side, and then I realized that sound was coming from my own, and I'm terrified, sweating, and don't know what to do.

But I decided to drive it to my boarding place at a modest speed of 30 to 40 km/h. I got safely at my boarding place and ate my meal; after that, my thoughts went blank; I was overthinking and searching for a similar problem on YouTube to determine the reason of the ticking sound. I merely slept on it and decided to have it checked by a professional mechanic the next day.

I awoke at 4:30 a.m. on Saturday because I wanted to go to the motorbike shop in Danao City early. At 5:00 a.m., I drove slowly to Danao City, and the tick sound became worst, when I fly by people or other vehicles who are looking at me, and I'm bashful with my motorcycle sound.

I arrived at the place of my friend, a motorcycle technician in Danao City, who operates a motorcycle shop called ***Technical Garage***, which is located in ***Barangay Guinsay, Danao City, Cebu***, and offers a variety of motorcycle services.

Since then, he was the one I trusted to repair my motorcycle or perform routine maintenance. You can schedule an appointment with him through his Facebook page (Kap Naj) , as he is extremely busy due to the number of drivers who have put their trust in him for motorbike repairs.

He checked my motorcycle and listened to the noise sound, and by listening, he already knew what was the problem, and he said that my Chain Guide Tensioner is broken, then he immediately removed the motorcycle cover and also the air filter to easy access the chain guide tensioner and remove it, and confirmed the part problem is the chain guide tensioner, he gave it to me that the spring of the tensioner is broken, that's why it can't hold the timing chain anymore and can't do its purpose.
I'm relieved because I assumed the problem was with the engine block, crankshaft assembly, engine head, or rocker arm, all of which are pricey and I don't have enough money. Fortunately, it's simply the tensioner, and it's less expensive than other parts. My mechanic friend impressed me since he promptly identified the problem with the motor after hearing the sound.

The mechanic suggested that we use a manual tensioner instead of the stock tensioner because it can be adjusted manually, has no springs, is very sturdy, and costs less than the stock tensioner.

Then I approve it since I trust all of his suggestions because he is an expert and knows more about motorcycles. He purchased a manual tensioner for only 350 pesos and quickly installed it in my motorcycle. After installation, he replaced the lid and air filter box and attempted to start the engine, and the problem was cured; no more ticking sound, and the engine sounded extremely cold and quiet.

My restless night and stress only cost 350 pesos, because he only charged me for the manual tensioner and did not charge me labor because we are such great friends. Because of his thoughtfulness in not charging me a fee, I ordered two of his online retail items for 400 pesos each. I'm hoping that by ordering, I can at least make up for it with him.

Thank you for taking the time to read this blog; I hope to have your support and encourage you to reblog and upvote my blogs.
