Today, I have another useless coin, but this time it is quite and old one, and already withdrawn from circulation. I am not really sure, but I think this coin still can be used as a change, as most people will not really paying attention to it, as the value is really really low at the moment.
It is minted two years before the monetary crisis hit my country, and we were still led by the former leader or New Order, Or Orde Baru, Mr. Soeharto, the one who is considered the father of development of the country as well as dictator for the time he led the country, and also the way he led the country with iron fist.
Back to the coin which if you see in the photo below, how run down the condition is. You can only see the denominination clearly from this angel.
And here on the observe the National Emblem, and also the mint year.
Here you can see better the reverse of the coin which show the cow race that is only held in Madura Island, one of the big island that is located in the north eastern part of Java Island.
Unfortunately I could not put it upright in a nice way, because it always fall down, and could only stay upright with the orientation of the coin a little bit skewed.
But since the real value of this coin is realy low, nobody realy taking a good care of it, even the newest issue with the same denomination.
So for now, i will still keep the coin as my collection, maybe in the future it could worth better, not for payment, but as a collection.
