it was another busy day for me yesterday, and I spent almost all day in the temple, because of various activities and preparation that need to be done prior to the main ceremony in the afternoon.
The ceremony was a yearly ceremony at this particular temple that is held every year during the full moon on the fifth month on the Balinese Calendat. It is considere a good day, and particularly in my regency there are so many temple that hold the ceremony in this particular day, which then will effect on the waiting list for the high priest that will lead the ceremony.
Unfortunately I didn't take photos of the activities in the morning, as it was mostly the preparation, like slaughtering pig, making roast suckling pig and ducks needed for the offerings, and other activities.
Here in the first photo is the first photo that I took using my wife phone. You can see some of the shrine in the abckground, and three dancers in the front side. we have a few traditional dances before the ceremony, another offering for the God that we worship in this temple.

And here is the high priest in the higher platform, leads the ceremony. as I said, because of the number of the ceremony that she handled yesterday, we get our turns around 4 P.M.

The kids taking video of the dance that was held. I think I was still playing at their age when I was a kid, but maybe we live it at different times.

and here in the last shot at dusk that I took yesterday. Altough the main ceremony is finished, but we still have a few things that we need to do collectively as the member of this temple.
