I am not really sure what is this red paper wasp was doing in one of my plant in my garden, but I am so happy to be able to take a few photos of it, because ti is quite hard to photorgraph. The last time I took the photo of this species was when they build a nest on the door frame at my parent's house. But has been destroyed, because it can be dangerous for the kids.
They can be quite aggressive around it nest, especially if we get close to it. It might percieve our approach as a threat to the nest and the colony, so that it might decided to defend the nest. And don't ask me what does it feel to get stung by this wasp, because the pain can last for a few minutes and maybe an hour, and the swell from the sting can be big as well.

I still remember when i was a kid, the neighbor was stung by this wasp on the face, and the face was swollen for a few days. So gotta be careful with this guy.

That was also the reason I approach it very slowly and carefully so that I can get more photo while it stay on the plant, and also tryng to keep my body part intact, and no swelling, I don't want to maake my face to look funny for a few days upon recieving an accidental kiss from this wasp. hahah
