From what we have this week as our topic for discussion, my life is a clear testimony to how collective care and discipline can raise a child into someone who values leadership, responsibility, and excellence today and tomorrow or the nearest future. I will love to start with my own experience first before I dive into the topic. My parents corrected me time without numbers .They taught me discipline, punctuality, and the importance of order not just by clocks but through life routines. For instance, they always said, "Finish your work before the sun sets," or, "When the cock crows, it's time to start your day." That simple, natural discipline shaped my inner sense of time, duty, and awareness which are the key traits of a good leader.

Teachers in school and church guided me with lessons not just in academics but in morals, values, and spirituality. My teachers believed in me when I doubted myself. I was taught patience, empathy and service as traits that are vital in leadership.

Mycommunity—from neighbors, friends, elders, even strangers whose names i don’t remember—each one contributed a piece to my growth. They scolded me when I was wrong, praised me when i succeeded. They equally shared wisdom in passing. These experiences helped me form a conscience, a sense of right and wrong, and a desire to live a life of purpose. If these influences made me who I am today, then we can absolutely say that the roles of parents and the society are crucial in building leaders of tomorrow- children Roles of Parents, and Society in Shaping children to become Future Leaders. Parents are the First Mentors. Parents are the first and most powerful teachers a child has. Their role in building children to become leader of tomorrow includes Instilling values or Teaching honesty, hard work, respect, and empathy. Providing discipline,or Setting rules, correcting mistakes, and modeling responsibility is also key in building children to become great leaders. Parents help in Nurturing confidence or Encouraging children to try new things and believe in themselves. Guiding their dreams or Helping children discover their talents and purpose is also one of the most important thing parents must do training children to become great leaders of tomorrow. People such as Teachers (School and Religious) in society
extend and deepen the lessons of home by educating the mind of children. Teaching literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking is a good way to make them good leaders tomorrow. They can also Mentor their spirit by helping them navigate challenges and build character and humility . Example: A Sunday school teacher who teaches the importance of humility and love helps children see leadership as service, not control. Community and Society can in a bigger way help make children to become the leaders of tomorrow. The child doesn’t grow in a vacuum. Society plays a collective role such as : 1.Setting examples: Community leaders, elders, and even role models in the media influence what children admire. 2.Offering support: When neighbors look out for a child, or a local mentor offers guidance, it builds a safety net around the child. 3.Creating culture: A society that rewards integrity and discourages corruption teaches children to lead with truth. Example: A child who grows up seeing a local chief resolve conflict with fairness will grow up understanding justice as a leadership trait. Thank you for reading through my blog.
