Hello to all my dear friends of @motherhood. It is a pleasure to greet you and wish you the best of days, with your loved ones and the little ones at home. Today I share with you a very special day with my dear grandson, Alonso. This week we had a quiet and energetic day. In my apartment, everything was calm, and I had the desire to prepare a delicious snack. It was a small cake. It was nothing complicated, just a simple recipe that I like to prepare and that day I wanted to spoil my grandson. ***    *** Alonso, only two years old, was happy to know that he was going to eat cake. From the moment he knew I was preparing this snack he would run and celebrate with joy and excitement all over the room. Sometimes he would come into the kitchen, peek out mischievously and say that he was going to **eat cake**, with such joy that it filled me with satisfaction that afternoon. After the cake was finished and I was able to unmold it, we sat together at the table, chatting and waiting for it to cool a bit before cutting it. Since it was a bit small, I decided to cut it into four pieces: one for Gabriel, one for Thomás, one for Alonso and one for me, grandma. We shared bits of cake, laughter and complicit looks. I could not stop photographing their happiness that day. ***    *** I was delighted to be able to make this snack that Alonso enjoyed so much when he ate his big piece. He was very attentive to make the cake for his daddy and his uncle Thomás, hahaha. I was really happy to share this joy and to see my grandson so excited enjoying this moment. This was a unique moment, simple and full of love. Sometimes it doesn't take much to be happy. A homemade cake, a smiling grandson and a home full of love are more than enough. That beautiful afternoon with Alonso was magical, the delicious and fluffy cake I prepared made him very happy and content. I wish that parents and grandparents can create moments like these, unforgettable and irreparable. Es un gusto saludarlos y desearles el mejor de los días, al lado de sus seres queridos y de los más pequeños de la casa. Hoy les comparto un dia muy especial al lado de mi querido nieto, Alonso. En esta semana tuvimos un día tranquilo y de energía. En mi apartamento, todo estaba en calma, y disponía de ganas para preparar una deliciosa merienda. Se trató de una pequeña torta. No fué nada complicado, sólo una receta sencilla que me gusta preparar y ese día quise consentir a mi nieto. Alonso, con sólo dos años, estaba felíz de saber que iba a comer torta. Desde que supo que estaba preparando esta merienda corría y celebraba con alegría y emoción por toda la sala. A veces se acercaba a la cocina, se asomaba con picardía y decía que iba a **comer torta**, con tanta alegría que me me llenó de satisfacción esa tarde. Después de terminar la torta y que pude desmoldarla, nos sentamos juntos en la mesa, a conversar y esperar que enfriara un poco para cortarla. Como era algo pequeña, decidí cortarla en cuatro pedazos: uno para Gabriel, otro para Thomás, uno para Alonso y el otro para mi; la abuelita. Compartimos pedacitos de torta, risas y miradas cómplices. No pude de dejar de fotografiar su felicidad de ese día. Me encantó poder hacer esta merienda que Alonso disfrutó con tanto gusto al comerse su gran trozo. Estuvo muy pendiente de guargar torta para su papá y su tío Thomás, jajaja. Me sentí verdaderamente felíz de compartir esta alegría y de ver a mi nieto tan emocionado disfrutando de ese momento. Este fué un instante único, sencillo y lleno de amor. A veces no se necesita mucho para ser felíz. Una torta casera, un nieto sonriente y un hogar lleno de cariño son más que suficientes. Esa linda tarde con Alonso fué mágica, la torta deliciosa y esponjosa que preparé lo hizo muy felíz y contento. Deseo que los padres y abuelos puedan crear momentos como éstos, inolvidables e irrepatibles.
