Hola a toda la comunidad de Humanitas, espero que se encuentren de maravilla porque hoy vengo a participar de la iniciativa “Mis hábitos para un día feliz”. Es la primera vez que participo en esta comunidad y sinceramente esta iniciativa me pareció increíble ya que fomenta los buenos hábitos que nos dan aunque sea un momento de felicidad con nosotros mismos, así que sin más palabras les dejo mis 3 hábitos que me generan paz mental.
Hello to all the Humanitas community, I hope you are feeling great because today I am here to participate in the initiative "My habits for a happy day". It is the first time I participate in this community and honestly I found this initiative amazing because it encourages good habits that give us even a moment of happiness with ourselves, so without further words I leave you my 3 habits that generate me peace of mind.
El primero de ellos es tocar el violín. Por el momento tocar el violín lo tengo de hobby y puede que se convierta en algo más a futuro, pero actualmente es algo que practico al menos 1 hora y media por día todas las tardes cuando tengo ese momento de intimidad para dedicarme a lo que me gusta. No soy muy buena ya que empecé hace muy poco tiempo pero al tomar el instrumento en mis manos ya siento que es ahí donde está mi paz mental, es una pasión difícil de explicar y la felicidad que me genera el solo hecho de utilizar el arco, mover mis dedos a lo largo del diapasón aunque no saque una bella melodía aun, este sin duda es mi momento de felicidad al final del día. A medida que voy adquiriendo nuevos accesorios o mejorando mi instrumento, siento satisfacción de que le estoy dedicando el tiempo necesario a lo que me apasiona aunque no me dedique ni viva de esto. ¡Dedícale algo de tiempo a lo que te gusta y te apasiona!
The first one is playing the violin. At the moment I play the violin as a hobby and it may become something more in the future, but at the moment it is something that I practice at least an hour and a half a day every afternoon when I have that moment of intimacy to dedicate myself to what I like. I am not very good since I started very recently but when I take the instrument in my hands I feel that is where my peace of mind is, it is a passion difficult to explain and the happiness that generates me the only fact of using the bow, moving my fingers along the fingerboard even if I don't get a beautiful melody yet, this is undoubtedly my moment of happiness at the end of the day. As I acquire new accessories or improve my instrument, I feel satisfied that I am dedicating the necessary time to what I am passionate about, even if I don't dedicate myself to it and don't live from it. Dedicate some time to what you like and what you are passionate about!
El segundo es observar el cielo y las aves. Muchos que me conocen saben que tengo una fascinación y un amor indescriptible por las aves, así que cuando estoy caminando por la calle, estoy sentada en mi casa con vista al exterior o simplemente me quedo parada en el jardín de mi casa, siempre miro al cielo y observo a las aves volar. Esto tampoco se puede expresar con palabras, pero muchas veces y sin darme cuenta, estoy mirando el cielo y las aves volando hacia el horizonte y es en ese momento cuando, llegado el caso que haya tenido un mal día o aunque este teniendo uno excelente, me tranquiliza y observo como las aves, a pesar de tener una vida difícil y llena de peligros, siguen volando libres y brillantes como si no hubiera un mañana. También me gusta verlas sobre suelo firme, ya sea estén comiendo, dándose un baño o simplemente descansando sobre una rama. El cielo no importa si esta gris, parciamente nublado, totalmente despejado, siempre lo veo hermoso e inalcanzable y es la paz que hay allá arriba lo que me hace admirarlo. ¡Contemplemos y admiremos más la naturaleza!
The second is watching the sky and birds. Many who know me know that I have an indescribable fascination and love for birds, so when I am walking down the street, sitting in my house with a view outside or just standing in the garden of my house, I always look up at the sky and watch the birds flying. This cannot be expressed in words either, but many times and without realising it, I am looking at the sky and the birds flying towards the horizon and it is at that moment when, in case I have had a bad day or even if I am having an excellent one, I calm down and observe how the birds, in spite of having a difficult life full of dangers, keep flying free and bright as if there is no tomorrow. I also like to see them on solid ground, whether they are eating, having a bath or just resting on a branch. The sky no matter if it is grey, partly cloudy, totally clear, I always see it beautiful and unreachable and it is the peace up there that makes me admire it. Let's see and admire nature more!
El tercero y último es leer a Julio Verne. El genio de la literatura francesa por allá en el siglo XIX, con sus impecables aventuras llenas de emoción. Esto no lo hago todas las noches, pero llegado el momento me recuesto en mi cama, tomo un libro de Julio Verne, me acomodo plácidamente y comienzo una nueva aventura a través de las palabras de este autor tan destacado y conocido. Tengo todos sus libros y cuentos, y a pesar de que ya los he leído, cada que vuelvo a leerlo, me emociono como la primera vez y aun me sigo riendo, llorando y deseando estar en los lugares que sus personajes están viendo. Mi habitación de repente se convierte en las montañas, islas, océanos que el libro está describiendo y eso, para mí, es paz mental. ¡Leamos un capítulo de un buen libro por día y la mente se enriquecerá!
The third and last is to read Jules Verne. The genius of French literature back in the 19th century, with his impeccable adventures full of excitement. I don't do this every night, but when the time comes I lie down on my bed, pick up a Jules Verne book, settle down peacefully and start a new adventure through the words of this outstanding and well-known author. I have all his books and stories, and even though I have already read them, every time I read him again, I get as excited as the first time and I still laugh, cry and wish I was in the places his characters are seeing. My room suddenly becomes the mountains, islands, oceans that the book is describing and that, for me, is peace of mind. Let's read a chapter of a good book a day and the mind will be enriched!
